People: M any will see and be in awe, and put their trust in the Lord. Leader: Blessed are those who make the Lord their trust, who do not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after false gods! People: O Lord my God, you have multiplied your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! Leader: Were I to proclaim and tell of them, they would be more than can be numbered. People: Sacrifice and offering you do not desire; but you have given me an open ear. Leader: Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required. People: Then I said, "Lo, I come; in the roll of the book it is written of me; I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart."

Bible reading for your week: Acts 3:12-19 Ps 4 (UMH 741) 1 John 3:1-7 Luke 24:36-48 Prayer Focus: John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. The Bible teaches that Jesus gave His life on Calvary so we could have forgiveness of our sin and life everlasting. Jesus is Alive! Jesus’ death and resurrection changed everything. Life without Jesus is lost forever. Salvation may have been given to us as a free gift, but it was purchased with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Thank God for His greatest gift of love. Live from a place of victory in Jesus! Dear Heavenly Father, We confess that we are washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. His blood covered our sins and washed us whiter than snow and gave us right-standing with God. We repent of our sins and invite Jesus to make us brand new in Him. Old things have passed away, and all things have become new because we are in Jesus Christ. In Jesus name, Amen. We proclaim: Jesus is Alive! Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Rev 19:16 Pray for: Outpouring of the Holy Spirit! Ask for: Godly wisdom and favor! Pray for revival in America and a harvest of souls. Pray that all people would fall in love with God’s Holy Word! Scripture: Acts 9:1-6 & 10-12

Acts:9:1 Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest 2 and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. 3 As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” 5 “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. 6 “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”… 10 In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision, “Ananias!” “Yes, Lord,” he answered. 11 The Lord told him, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. 12 In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.”

Announcements Sunday April 18th – To Mars & Beyond For 6 weeks starting April 18th, the whole church is going to Mars & Beyond. Last year, we were unable to run our VBS program and the children’s ministry in consultation with Pastor David is planning a 6-week whole church worship & Sunday School program based on our VBS materials. This will be a fun time for all as our children’s time in worship will begin again before they head off into the different stations. Worship then will continue for the Adults in the sanctuary, following the same weekly theme that the children are doing. If you would like to help, please contact Amanda in the office so that we can plug you in.

April 18 – Countdown – Making Preparations April 25 – Trusting in God – Daniel May 2 – Helping a Neighbor – Good Samaritan May 9 – Taking A Stand – Esther – Mother’s Day May 16 – Beyond Thankfulness – 10 Lepers May 23 – A Surprise Visit – Emmaus Road
