Webroughtsometropicalfruitstoclass,suchasmango,papaya,andavocado,aswellasitems,suchasblackpepper,cinnamonsticks,vanillapowder,coffeebeans,anddarkchocolate.Thechildrenwereveryinterestedinobservingandlookingattheitems.Weinvestigatedtheoutsideofthefruits,theplantthatthefruitcomesfrom,andfinallytheinsideofthefruit.Themostexcitingpartwastastingtheitemsandweencouragedthestudentstodescribewhattheysaw,felt,andtasted.Theyalsocreatedobservationaldrawingsofdifferentfruits.Asaconclusion,thechildrenrealizedthatthepeopleintherainforesthaveeverythingtosurvive,andthattherainforestisrich.
