    Integration with Nemo Collection Tools

Nemo Xynergy is seamlessly integrated with Nemo Collection tools. Data can be uploaded directly from collection tools to Nemo Xynergy for processing. This enables faster turnaround time of processed results and removes the need for manual managing of data flow from collection to post-processing. As an example, in an in-building test scenario a report of the collected data is available within 15 to 45 minutes, sent via email to the field engineer. This allows the field engineer to validate the collected data before leaving the venue and to make additional corrective measurements during the same visit if needed.

Nemo Xynergy is also integrated with Nemo Cloud. Nemo Cloud is used to remotely control the configuration and measurements of collection tools in the field and to monitor the measurements in real time. When coupled with Nemo Xynergy, Nemo Cloud can also be used to configure the automated data upload to Nemo Xynergy, including report configuration and execution. The executed Nemo Xynergy reports are available also in Nemo Cloud. This gives a single access point for end-users to configure, execute, and monitor the progress of field measurements, and to fetch the final deliverables.

    Nemo Xynergy Small Cells Module

In-building and small cell measurement data post-processing has unique challenges. The input data consists of scattered measurement, map, and antenna overlay files from each floor and building of the venue. Nemo Xynergy’s Small Cells module provides the means to fully automate the data processing and reporting of small cell and in-building data and to remove time-consuming manual labor of managing and organizing indoor measurement data.

Another unique in-building measurement data related issue is the operation of the Distributed Antenna System (DAS). In DAS, the signal of a cell is transmitted and received via multiple antennas, and measurement tools cannot differentiate between the different antennas within a cell. Nevertheless, validating the operation of each DAS antenna is one of the key reasons for performing DAS measurements. Nemo Xynergy has built-in routines embedded into the DAS report templates to automatically detect the health of the DAS antennas.

The in-building visualization features allow users to toggle across floors and devices intuitively. The devices and test routes overlay the floor plans and the metric plots allow users to view the distribution of power and pilots. The delta plots offer interactive and in-depth analysis across operators and devices, making it easy and convenient to plot metrics, events, and sync with Layer 3 data. In addition, the troubleshooting analysis features enable drilldown investigation of network problems, such as pilot pollution, poor coverage, and interference.

Nemo Xynergy Small Cells - WorkflowsIn-building log files are uploaded directly from the field to Nemo Xynergy by field technicians. Nemo Xynergy processes the data automatically and produces a comprehensive indoor acceptance report and a summary report that is sent to the field technician. From the report the technician can validate whether the measurement data was good and, if necessary, take corrective actions before leaving the site. This real-time analysis avoids additional trips to the venue and saves time and money.

Nemo Xynergy enables two industry accepted workflows.Workflow (no iBwave)

    – Field engineer collects the data and uploads it using Nemo Xynergy smart client – Nemo Xynergy automatically processes the data and e-mails the report to the field
