Matthew-

6:33 ~ 33But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

7:1-2 ~ 1Do not judge so that you will not be judged. 2For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.

7:7 ~ 7Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

7:11-12 ~ 11If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him! 12In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

7:13-14 ~ 13Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

7:21 ~  21Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.

9:12-13 ~ 12It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.

13But go and learn what this means: 'I desire compassion, and not sacrifice,' for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

11:25 ~ 25I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants.

11:28-30 ~ 28Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

16:24-26 ~ 24If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. 25For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

18:15-17 ~ 15If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother. 6But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every fact may be confirmed. 17If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.

19:24-26 ~ 24Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. 25When the disciples heard this, they were very astonished and said, "Then who can be saved?"  26And looking at them Jesus said to them, "With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

26:41 ~ 41Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

28:18-20 ~ 18And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

9:23b-24 ~ 23bAll things are possible to him who believes. 24Immediately the boy's father cried out and said, "I do believe; help my unbelief."

17:3-4 ~ 3Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4"And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, 'I repent,' forgive him.

18:13-14 ~ 13But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, the sinner!' 14I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.

18:26-27 ~ 26They who heard it said, "Then who can be saved?" 27But He said, "The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”

John-

3:3 ~ 3Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.

3:16-21 ~ 6"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20For everyone who does evil hates the

Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21"But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God."

3:30 ~ 30He must increase, but I must decrease. 3:36 ~ 36He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son

will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. 5:39-40 ~ 39You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal

life; it is these that testify about Me; 40and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.

6:29 ~ 29Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.

6:39 ~ 39This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day.

10:28-30 ~ 28and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. 29My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. 30"I and the Father are one."

11:25 ~ 25Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies,”

14:6 ~ 6Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Acts-

2:23-24 ~ 23This Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death. 24"But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power.

4:12 ~ 12"And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved."

5:29 ~ 29We must obey God rather than men. 13:48 ~ 48When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of

the Lord; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed. 16:31 ~ 31Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your

household. 17:30 ~ 30Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to

men that all people everywhere should repent. 18:9-10 ~ 9And the Lord said to Paul in the night by a vision, "Do not be afraid any

longer, but go on speaking and do not be silent; 10for I am with you, and no man will attack you in order to harm you, for I have many people in this city.

Romans-

1:16-17 ~ 16For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "But the righteous man shall live by faith.”

1:18-24 ~ 18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21For even though they knew God, they did not [a]honor Him as God or give

thanks, but they became futile in their speculations and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. 24Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them.

1:28 ~ 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper,

2:14-15 ~ 14For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, 15in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them,

3:10-11 ~ 10As it is written "There is none righteous, not even one; 11there is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God.”

3:23 ~ 23For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 4:15 ~ 15For the Law brings about wrath, but where there is no law, there also is no

violation. 5:1 ~  1Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our

Lord Jesus Christ, 5:3-5 ~  3And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation

brings about perseverance; 4and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; 5and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

5:6-8 ~ 6For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. 8But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

5:12 ~  12Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—

5:20 ~  20The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,

6:3-12 ~ 3Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? 4Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. 5For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; 7for he who has died is freed from sin. 8Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him. 10For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.  11Even so consider yourselves to

be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 2Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts,

6:23 ~ 23For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

6:14-16 ~ 14For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace. 15What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be! 16Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?

7:14-23 ~ 14For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am of flesh, sold into bondage to sin. 15For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate. 16But if I do the very thing I do not want to do, I agree with the Law, confessing that the Law is good. 17So now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me. 18For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not. 19For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. 20But if I am doing the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me.  21I find then the principle that evil is present in me, the one who wants to do good. 22For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man, 23but I see a different law in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is in my members.

8:1-3 ~ 1Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. 3For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

8:19 ~ 19For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.

8:28 ~ 28And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

8:29-30 ~ 29For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

8:31 ~ 31If God is for us, who is against us? 8:32 ~ 32He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will

He not also with Him freely give us all things? 8:38-39 ~ For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,

nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

9:11-13 ~ 11For though the twins were not yet born and had not done anything good or bad, so that God's purpose according to His choice would stand, not because of works but because of Him who calls, 12it was said to her, "the older will serve the younger." 13Just as it is written, "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."

9:14-16 ~ 14What shall we say then? There is no injustice with God, is there? May it never be! 15For He says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." 16So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs, but on God who has mercy.

9:18-23 ~ 18So then He has mercy on whom He desires, and He hardens whom He desires. 19You will say to me then, "Why does He still find fault? For who resists His will?" 20On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder, "Why did you make me like this," will it?  21Or does not the potter have a right over the clay, to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for common use? 22What if God, although willing to demonstrate His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction? 23And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory,

10:9-10 ~ 9 If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

10:13 ~ 13For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. 10:14-15 ~ 14How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will

they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? 15How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!"

10:17 ~ 17So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. 12:1 ~ 1Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a

living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 12:2 ~ 2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of

your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

12:21 ~ 21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. 13:1-2 ~ 1Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities For there is no

authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.  2Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.

1 Corinthians-

1:20 ~ 20Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

1:22-24 ~ 22For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom; 23but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness, 24but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

1:25 ~ 25Tthe foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

2:14 ~ 14But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.

6:12 ~ 12All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.

6:19-20 ~ 19Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

8:1b ~ 1We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. 8:1-12 ~ 1Now concerning things sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have

knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. 2If anyone supposes that he knows anything, he has not yet known as he ought to know; 3but if anyone loves God, he is known by Him. 4Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that there is no such thing as an idol in the world, and that there is no God but one. 5For even if there are so-called gods whether in heaven or on earth, as indeed there are many gods and many lords, 6yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him. 7However not all men have this knowledge; but some, being accustomed to the idol until now, eat food as if it were sacrificed to an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled. 8But food will not commend us to God; we are neither the worse if we do not eat, nor the better if we do eat. 9But take care that this liberty of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak. 10For if someone sees you, who have knowledge, dining in an idol's temple, will not his conscience, if he is weak, be strengthened to eat things sacrificed to idols? 11For through your knowledge he who is weak is ruined, the brother for whose sake Christ died. 12And so, by sinning against the brethren and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.

10:13 ~ 13No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

10:31 ~ 31Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 13:1-3 ~ 1If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have

become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do

not have love, I am nothing. 3And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.

13:4-7 ~ 4Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 6does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

13:11 ~ 11When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.

2 Corinthians-

4:4 ~ 4The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

5:17 ~ 17Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

5:21 ~ 21He made Him who knew no sin to be (sin on our behalf, so that we might become the (righteousness of God in Him.

6:14 ~ 14Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?

7:10 ~ 10For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.

12:9-10 ~ 9And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness" Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

13:5 ~ 5Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you--unless indeed you fail the test?

Galatians-

2:20 ~  20I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

2:21 ~ 21"I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly."

3:13 ~ 13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us--for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree."--

5:16-17 ~ 16But I say walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. 17For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.

5:22-23 ~ 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

5:24-25 ~ 24Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

6:7 ~ 7Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.

Ephesians-

1:4-5 ~ 4Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him In love. 5He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,

1:11 ~  11Also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will,

2:3 ~ 3Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

2:8-9 ~ For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

2:10 ~ 10For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

4:4-6 ~4There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling;  5one Lord, one faith, one baptism,  6one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

4:26-27 ~ 26Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 27and do not give the devil an opportunity.

6:1-4 ~ 1Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2Honor your father and mother which is the first commandment with a promise, 3so that it may be well with you,

and that you may live long on the earth.  4Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

6:10-18 ~ 10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.  13Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. 14Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 5and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,

Philippians-

1:6 ~ 6For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

1:21 ~ 21For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. 2:4 ~ 4Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of

others. 2:5-8 ~ Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6who, although

He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.  8Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

2:12-13 ~ 2So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; 13for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

2:14-15 ~ 14Do all things without grumbling or disputing; 15so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, (children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you (appear as lights in the world,

3:8-11 ~ 8More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ,  9and may be found in Him, not having a

righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, 10that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; 11in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

3:20 ~ 20For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;

4:4 ~ 4Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! 6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving

let your requests be made known to God. 7And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

4:8 ~ 8Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

4:11 ~ 11For I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. 4:13 ~ 13I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

Colossians-

1:13-14 ~ 13For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

1:15-17 ~ 15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

1:21-22 ~ 21And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, 22yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach—

2:9 ~  9For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, 2:10-14 ~ 10 In Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and

authority; 11and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ;  12having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, 14having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

3:1-2 ~ 1Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.

3:5-7 ~ 5Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry. 6For it is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience, 7and in them you also once walked, when you were living in them.

3:12-17 ~  12So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; 13bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. 14Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. 15Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.  16Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

1 Thessalonians-

5:5-22 ~  15See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people.  16Rejoice always; 17pray without ceasing; 18in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 19Do not quench the Spirit; 20do not despise prophetic utterances.  21But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; 22abstain from every form of evil.

2 Thessalonians-

2:10b ~ They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

1 Timothy-

2:1-4 ~ 1First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, 2for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 3This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2:5-6 ~ 5For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.

 12But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet.

 7But have nothing to do with worldly fables fit only for old women. On the other hand, discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness;  8for bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

4:12 ~  12Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.

5:20 ~ 20Those who continue in sin, rebuke in the presence of all, so that the rest also will be fearful of sinning.

5:23 ~ 23No longer drink water exclusively, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments.

6:10 ~ 10For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many grievances.

6:12 ~   12Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

6:13-14 ~ 13I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate, 14that you keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

2 Timothy-

1:6-7 ~ 6For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, 7for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

1:12 ~ 12For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.

2:22-25 ~ 22Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. 23But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they produce quarrels. 24The Lord's bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, 25with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,

3:14-15 ~  14You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them,  15and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

3:16-17 ~ 16All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

4:1-2 ~ 1I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom:  2preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.

4:3-4 ~ 3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.

4:7-8 ~  7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; 8in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Titus-

1:9 ~ 9Hold fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, so that he will be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict.

1:15-16 ~ 15To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. 16They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for any good deed.

2:11 ~  11For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, 3:5-7 ~ 5He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness,

but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit 6whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Hebrews-

1:1-4 ~ 1God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways,  2in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. 3And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.

1:14 ~ 14Are not angels all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?

3:12-13 ~ 12Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. 13But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today," so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

4:12-13 ~ 12For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

4:14-16 ~ 14Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. 16Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

6:4-6 ~ 4For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.

7:25 ~ 25Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

9:13-14 ~ 13For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, 14how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

9:22 ~ 22And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

9:27-28 ~  27And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, 28so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

10:1 ~ 1For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the very form of things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who draw near.

10:30-31 ~ 10For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay" and again, "The Lord will judge his people."  31It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

11:1 ~ 1Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

11:6 ~ 6And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.

12:1-2 ~ 1Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

 13:2 ~ 2Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.

13:8 ~ 8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

James-

1:2-4 ~ 2Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, 3knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

1:5-8 ~ 5But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.  7For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, 8being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

1:13 ~ 13Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.

1:14-15 ~ 14But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust.  15Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.

1:17 ~ 17Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

1:19-20 ~ 19This you know, my beloved brethren But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; 20for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God.

1:21 ~ 21Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.

2:10 ~ 10For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.

2:13 ~ 13For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.

2:14-19 ~ 14What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him? 15If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, 16and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and be filled," and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? 17Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.  18But someone may well say, "You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works." 19You believe that God is one You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.

3:1 ~ 1Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment.

3:4-10 ~ 4Look at the ships also, though they are so great and are driven by strong winds, are still directed by a very small rudder wherever the inclination of the pilot desires. 5So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things See how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire!  6And the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity; the tongue is set among our members as that which defiles the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell. 7For every species of beasts and birds, of reptiles and creatures of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by the human race. 8But no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison.  9With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the likeness of God; 10from the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be this way.

4:2b-3 ~ 2You do not have because you do not ask. 3You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.

4:4 ~ 4You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

4:7-8 ~ 7Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

4:10 ~ 10Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you. 4:13-16 ~ 13Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and

such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit." 14Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. 15Instead, you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that." 16But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil.

4:17 ~ 17Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin.

5:12 ~  12But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but your yes is to be yes, and your no, no, so that you may not fall under judgment.

5:13-16 ~ 13Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises.  14Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; 15and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. 16Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

1 Peter-

1:3-5 ~ 3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading kept in heaven for you, 5who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1:8-9 ~ 8Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, 9obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

2:2 ~ 2Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation—

2:15 ~ 15For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people.

2:16 ~ 16 Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.

2:24 ~ 24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and

live to righteousness. 3:15-16 ~ 15but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to

make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, 16having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.

3:21 ~ 21Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

4:8 ~ 8Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

4:10 ~ 10As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

5:5-6 ~ 5Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." 6Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,

5:7 ~ 7Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 5:8-9 ~ 8Be of sober spirit, be on the alert Your adversary, the devil, prowls around

like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.

2 Peter-

1:3-10 ~  3His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, 4by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. 5For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, 6and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, 7and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. 8For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins. 10Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall.

1:18-19 ~ 18we ourselves heard this very voice borne from heaven, for we were with him on the holy mountain. 19And we have something more sure, the prophetic word, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,

1:20-21 ~ 20knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. 21For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

2:4-6 ~ 4For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment; 5if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;

2:12 ~ 19They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved.

3:8-9 ~ 8But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

3:10 ~ 10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

1 John-

1:5 ~ 5This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1:9 ~ 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

2:5-6 ~ 5but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: 6whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.

2:19 ~ 19They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.

2:22 ~ 22Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.

3:8 ~ 8Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God.

3:24 ~ 24Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.

4:1-3 ~ 1Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.

4:7-12 ~ Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9In this the love of God was made manifest

among us, that( God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.

4:18 ~ 8There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

4:19 ~ 9We love because he first loved us. 4:20 ~ 20If anyone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who

does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.

5:3 ~ 3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.

5:4-5 ~ 4For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

5:12 ~ 12Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

5:14-15 ~ 4And this in the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 15And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.

2 John-

1:7 ~ 7For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist.

1:10 ~ 10If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting,

Jude-

1:24-25 ~ 24 Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, 25to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
