THE CUPBOARD Something rattled in Tim’s toy cupboard. He carefully opened the door…..

There were tons of wild animals like lions and tigers and snow leopards and vultures and Komodo Dragons.

Tim was surprised. He jumped onto the cupboard and accidently killed all the animals. He was sorry for them and there were babies. So he raised them.

Tim’s sister saw the wild baby animals and hugged Tim in their house and left home with ten babies.

Then the queen bee stung all of them. Then a man saw the baby animals and called the vet. Then they were healthy again.

The Magic Box

By Mia Brady

I will put in the

the taste of beautiful summer fruits,

the sound of soft waves crashing on the sand,

the free leaps of a baby bunny.

I will put in the box

The most beautiful sunset,

Two red roses for a nice smell,

and a magical horn of a rainbow unicorn.

I will put in the box

The smell of the rains in summer,

A touch of sunlight through the clouds,

and a soaring shooting star.

My box is fashioned with diamonds, pearls and sapphires, shimmers and sparkles of stars and the hinges and corners are old delicate cobwebs.

I will dance in my box until I get tired, to my own beat, with my own feet.

The Magic Box

I will put in the box

One slight wind on a summer night,

The world made of chocolate.

I will put in the box

Cats licking chocolate very slowly,

Cats barking and dogs meowing.

I will put in the box

The smell of chocolate and mushy marshmallows,

Cats eating marshmallows and dogs eating chocolate.

My box is fashioned with chocolate and mushy marshmallows,

A chocolate box with rubies and sapphires.

I shall find the box of chocolate of mushy marshmallows, rubies and sapphires

Our New Class Member Our new class member was a little different.

He had red scary eyes, green ugly skin and never wore clothes.

I thought he was a monster. My friend Austin thought he was a zombie.

After it was recess. The new class member had blood, blood cake and blood skin.

The new class member ate my teacher’s head off.

Later me and Austin threw the new class member in dirty filthy mud. He suffocated then the school was happy again.

Upside Down World By Austin

Just for one day the world seemed to turn upside down. There was a dog that walked a man. There was a grandpa who walked a person instead of a dog. There was a grandpa pushing me in a wheelchair. I also had to wear the grandpa’s glasses. He took me somewhere. It was Antarctica. I was very cold. Antarctica is one of the coldest places in the whole entire world. My grandpa was getting young and I was getting old. Soon I could not walk. My grandpa was as smart as me. I was not smart at all. But my grandpa was smart. So we found a key. It was gold, it looked secret. I think someone hid it and did not tell anyone. Grandpa and I walked out of the cave. Then grandpa and I saw a snake so we stopped walking. It was coming closer to grandpa and I. Then we ran outside the cave. We kept on running outside of the cave. It was getting darker. At the end of the day we would die because I’m getting old, so I could not die. When we got back to the city I gave my grandpa back his glasses and wheel chair. We both became our age again and luckily we did not die. We lived happily ever after.

This is my directed drawing of Plants vs Zombies

The mystery world

Once there was a floating city and there was a ghost’s party going on up there. Bobby the ghost rang his friends Josh and James but they did not answer. So he went looking for them at the station which is where they lived. He found a tunnel and could not see down there. The ghost fell into a dark cave. He heard something.

It said “helloooooo!” Bobby realised it was his friends. They got out of the cave together. There were very dark clouds. They had never seen anything like it before. It was a mystery, so they rang up one of the ghost police. He said it might be lightning coming. SERIOUS lightning!!!!!

“Oh no we might have to go up the magic slide,” said Bobby.

“What magic slide?” asked Josh.

“It’s a slide I found today. Here I will show you. Okay up the hill past the slide. Wait! I mean up the magic slide past the clouds and in my house.”

“Oh so that’s the magic slide,” answered Josh.

Once inside the house they heard a knocking on the door. They screamed for help. Josh realised he’d heard this lightning noise before and it was a witch in search of ghost helpers. She puts a spell on ghosts so she can turn them into slaves. They needed to get to the bridge that leads to the floating city.

They make a plan. James has magic rope. He throws it out the door and it ties the witch up. They quickly escape pass the tied up witch and go back to the station. They find the bridge and return to the party just in time to see the police ghost checking on everybody.

Kindergarten Orientation Today we had our first Kindergarten Orientation Day. We saw Stage 3 meet their buddies. The place where I was standing was at the back. I did an individual poem. It was called “A Terrible, Terrible Dragon”. I said it to the pre-schoolers and to mums and dads. We said our class poems. They were called “Challenges” and “The Witchy Witch’s Rap”. They were written by Annette Koseris. I was really excited. We had to sing to the pre-schoolers. I knew two people who were coming to big school. Their names are Harry and Noah.

I will put in the box…

The sound of a crowd cheering,

A crumble of a burnt leaf,

and a baby cub looking for its mother.

I will put in the box…

A gazelle chasing a cheetah,

The sound of a whistle at the start of a soccer match,

Ice from the hand of an ice king.

I will put in the box…

Wings from a winged sapphire

Blocks of melted and non-melted chocolate,

Tusks from a mighty mammoth.

My box is fashioned from emerald and rubies from the same cave gold from gold mines and blue sapphires.

I will play soccer on a lush green pitch, ride motorbikes on the mountains of Australia and run and trip and fall into paradise.

The Magic Box

By Douglas

I will put in the box

A swift swallow flying on a summer night, the last leaf on a tree, blowing in a cool autumn breeze, the sight that the dinosaurs saw when the meteor came down to earth.

I will put in the box,

The icicle that started the ice age, the first drop of water that filled the ocean, an everlasting diamond that grants wishes, I will put in my box,

A door that leads everyone to a good life, an everlasting bowl of food that anyone can eat from, the joy that Neil Armstrong felt when he touched the moon.

My box is fashioned from normal wood and metal with wishes in the corners, a label made of emerald with amethyst writing saying ‘everyone’ on the top, remember it’s on the inside that counts. My box will automatically teleport me to poor and homeless families so I can give them food and money.
