Welcome to the Kenray Ranch 1st Annual Online Bull Sale. Since 1986 Kenray Ranch has been committed to producing Red Angus cattle that excel throughout the entire beef value chain. Previously we have marketed our

bulls primarily by private treaty sales to long time repeat customers and many new customers every year. The Beef Industry is currently in the position it needs to be! Producers who were brave enough to endure the challenges of BSE are now harvesting the rewards of their toils. The North American Beef cow numbers are at an all-time low with nominal signs of heifer retention in sight. We would suggest that NOW is the time to seriously consider exposing a few more heifers and developing a few more young cows that will be ready for some very profi table production years ahead.On February 28th we will be hosting our 2nd Annual Open House. This will allow you the opportunity to view our entire offering of bulls and the cow herd while enjoying some Kenray Ranch hospitality. By spending more one on one time with our customers we believe that we are better capable of matching you with bulls that will meet your goals & cattle herd’s needs.

NEW IN 2015 WE ARE HOSTING AN ONLINE BULL SALE. We recognize that beef producers are an extremely busy group of folks and can have a diffi cult time getting away from their own operations to attend a bull sale. Therefore we will be bringing our sale offering right to you in the comfort of your home via the internet at www.CattleinMotion.com on March 2nd – 5th. All of the bulls will have complete pedigree, performance data, base price and picture & videos available prior to the sale. Once bidding opens on March 2nd the Cattle in Motion website functions like an auction sale with the highest bidder owning the bull at the commencement of the sale at 8:00 p.m. CST on March 5th. Following the sale free delivery to central locations in Western Canada will be available. BULL DEVELOPMENT – we aim to offer you a sound and functional breeding bull. Our bulls are developed with longevity top of mind while expressing genetic potential. We do not feed a ration high in energy to mask poor performance animals. Our bulls are developed on free choice long stem brome alfalfa hay and fed a screening pellet twice daily. This management improves their overall temperament and their docility is appreciated by our customers.

KENRAY RANCH GUARANTEE - We guarantee to provide you with a sound breeding bull capable of passing a semen test by 14 months of age. All bulls will be evaluated by a licensed veterinarian and semen tested once they have reached 12 months of age. Should a bull fail to be proven a satisfactory breeder he will either be replaced with a bull of equal quality and value or a refund will be issued. As per the Canadian Angus Association Breeding Guarantee guidelines, in the event of a dispute, the sellers are responsible only to the extent of the purchase price of the said animal. We assume no liability, legal or otherwise, to make any further compensation to buyers.

SIGHT UNSEEN PROGRAM – The program is simple! Call us in advance of the sale to discuss your cowherd, breeding objectives and current herd bull needs. By listening to you and your requirements we will then match you with the bull or bulls that fi t your objectives in your price range. We are a family operation so the same people who helps you select your bulls is the same person who calves, breeds, feeds and watches these herd bull prospects and their dams year round. We will ensure that you get the best bull for your program as reasonably priced as possible – you can count on that!

HEALTH PROGRAM - all bulls sell under the Kenray Ranch total Herd Health Program. All have received Express 5 Program, Fusogard & Ivomec .

PAYMENT - terms are ½ upon receipt following the sale and ½ upon possession of your bull or by May 1. Give us a call to discuss further fi nancing options. Online Bidding and Video Information1. If you do not have an account with Cattle In Motion, go to www.cattleinmotion.com and click on

“Create New Account” in the upper right hand corner. Fill in all of the required fi elds and click on “Create New Account” at the bottom of the page.

2. Once your account has been created, or your have logged in using an existing account, fi nd the Online Sale under “Upcoming Events” and click on it.

3. When you have reached the Online Sale Event Page and you are a new user at Cattle In Motion,

click on “Complete Lifetime Verifi cation”. Follow the steps to enter your credit card information, have

$1.00 charged to your credit card and you will be eligible to bid online.

4. Once Lifetime Verifi cation has been complete, you will then Sign Up to view the sale. This is done by entering your User Name and Agreeing to the

Terms and Conditions. Then click “Sign Up”. New and Existing Users at Cattle In Motion will have to complete this step to participate at the sale.

5. To view the Lots and Place a bid, click on “Click Here to See Sale Lot Details”. The current High

Bid and time left until the sale expires are available. To bid, click on “Place Bid”.

6. You may also enter a “Proxy Bid”. This is the maximum amount you would like to bid on a particular lot. You can enter this dollar amount and

www.cattleinmotion.com will bid on your behalf until your Proxy limit is reached. You will then be notifi ed by text message or email if the lot for sale

has exceeded your proxy bid amount.

7. Should you be outbid on a lot you are interested in, you will receive an email or a text message notifying you to bid again.

8. When you log into Cattle In Motion under your User Name and Password, your information remains private. This will not be seen by any of the other

participants in the sale.
