KellyKelly turned to coaching in 1998. He's trained multiple boxing champions, includ-ing Eric Harding, Olympic Gold Medalist Vassily Jirov, Kelvin Davis, Steve Forbes, Jackson Bussell, and Mixed Martial Arts Champions Richard Hale, Ken Shamrock and Vernon (Tiger) White. He has also held training camps for Roy Jones, Cliffard Ettinan (Black Rhino), Kelvin Davis (Koncrete), Hassium Rahman (Rock) and Shane Cameron.

Kelly has been boxing for about 16 years with his brother Kelvin "Koncrete" Davis, the former International Boxing Federation (IBF) World Cruiserweight Champion. Opening his own gym was a natural progression for this boxing trainer. Kelly took an opportunity to show his craft to non-boxers by putting them through boxer workouts, allowing non-boxers to obtain the physical benefits without having to take the punishment of the actual fighting. Things came together and Impact MMA is the result of that.

KellyKelly Davis brings some Southern charm to the gym from his birthplace of Natchez, Mississippi. He has traveled the world as a professional boxer -- achiev-ing World Title Belts from the International Boxing Federation, the International Boxing Association, the United States Boxing Association, the International Fight League, King of the Cage, the UFC Ultimate Fighting Championship and Rage in the Cage.
