The market doesn’t officially open until the beginning of July and with the June flooding, many vendors have been unable to bring produce to the market, resulting in a lack of growers. The market is planning their “grand opening” for July 11. However, some growers are now selling at the market on Wednesdays and Satur- days. Susan Longton said they usually have corn and more tomatoes but due to the rain they won’t be replanting this late in the season.
