EnclosuresWe are proud to provide you with the world'smost advanced enclosures in the electrical indu-stry. Our enclosures are made of THERMOLE-NE® - a non-conductive, self-extinguishing andvirtually indestructible material. Designed to tole-rate extreme mechanical strain at both low andhigh temperatures, its low heat transfer resi-stance ensures optimal heat dissipation. Unlikeother materials, THERMOLENE® enclosureswon't break, fade in colour or distort with age,even when exposed to direct sunlight for manyyears. Because our enclosures are made toorder, we are not limited to the sizes of any casemanufacturer and can therefore tailor each enclo-sure our customers exact specifications.

ServiceEven the best quality sockets are subject to wearand tear. Our distribution boxes are therefore desi-gned with ease of maintenance in mind. All com-ponents can be easily and quickly replaced. Thecable routing and layout of the internal compo-nents ensures that problems can be rectifiedquickly.

RegulationsThe wiring of our distribution boxes con-forms to BS 7671 and the EN 60439 stan-dard, which applies in all countries of theEuropean Union.

We strictly adhere to IEC regulations, whichare accepted throughout Europe, Australia,New Zealand and parts of Asia. Distributionboxes for the USA and Canada are ULlisted. (See separate catalogue for US versi-ons.)

The sleeves on the cab-ling in our distribution boxes havebeen crimped with electric crim-ping machines. This guarantees aconsistently high quality. All wiringis carried out by qualified electrici-ans. All cables are carefully routedto prevent mechanical strain onany component.

INDU ELECTRIC has experience more than 19 years in power distribution for film, TV, stage and events.Our boxes have been used for major events all over the world. INDU-ELECTRIC boxes stand for abso-lute trouble free power distribution even under harsh environmental conditions.

Made of THERMOLENE®, all edges of our boxes are rounded. THERMOLENE® can withstand extrememechanical stress at both low and high temperatures. Its low heat transfer resistance provides optimalheat dissipation. THERMOLENE® will not loose colour or shape, even if exposed to tropical sun overyears. We use extremely robust, wide surface cable glands, which prevent the cable from being pulledout, even under extreme force. Steel handles jacketed in solid rubber are unbreakable and can not bepulled off. The handles can also be integrated into the casing. Because ourenclosures are made to order, we are not limited to the sizes of any case manu-facturer and can therefore tailor each enclosure our customers exact needs.

Watertight polycarbonate covers with stainless steel springs protect fuses,MCBs and RCDs to guarantee their fault-free function in the most adverseweather conditions, including torrential rain.

Thanks to special fittings,the modules can be secu-rely stacked without slip-ping.

DMX Booster

This device is used increasingly in complex control systems in which many devices and processes need to be supplied with datasignals. The signals must be adapted on one hand to the cable lengths and the resulting losses, and on the other the number ofdevices to be controlled. In addition, the individual lines must be arranged in a star layout.

The DMX Booster features one input and nine outputs. On the version with the optional Datachanger, the ninth output acts only asa link and is not affected by the Datachanger.

DMX Power Booster

In addition to the functions of the DMX Booster, the DMX Power Booster can supply power to auxiliary devices, such as colourchangers, eliminating the need to loop in an additional power supply.

The DMX Power Booster features one input and nine outputs. On the version with the optional Datachanger, the ninth output actsonly as a link and is excluded from the Datachanger and the power supply through contacts 4 and 5.

DMX Merger

This device bundles DNIX signals with the same destination to a single control signal. It can be used, for example, to control dim-mers through two control desks to allow separate access to specific circuits. As a basic rule, the output value is the higher value.The DMX Power Booster Merger combines the functions of the DMX Power Booster with the ability to modulate a single signalfrom two different DMX sources and to output this signal to eight lines.

DMX Datachanger

With the DMX Datachanger, the polarity of the output signal can be reversed separately for each line. This allows you to correctpolarity reversals in the cabling without having to change cables over.All outputs of all device versions are optically and electrically isolated from each other. In addition, each line has a separate powersupply unit, so that when a line fails, all remaining lines remain fully functional.The units are also available in 19" enclosures. The XLR output configuration can be modified to customer specifications.The devices described here are based on DMX 512 USITT 1990. On request, they can be configured according to DMX 512USITT 2000, although the DMX Power Booster equipment level is, for technical reasons, not possible in this case.

At many events and shows, it is not necessary to dim light, only to switch it On and Off from the control desk. Using DMX signals,our Non-Dim switchpack can switch six circuits of up to 5 kW. DMX 512 signals from all popular light controllers can be proces-sed. Their exceptionally rugged design makes the devices ideal not only for stationary, but also for mobile use.Each of the six sockets is controlled by a relay which can switch a lamp load of 2 kW. The start address can be set on the circuitboard. The current setting is retained when the power is turned off. The box features indication lamps for Data OK, Hold, andPower On.Boxes to customer specifications are available. A load of 63 A can also be switched, whereby the relays control a contactor of upto 63 A.

Dead front contacts: An insultated tip on the contact element prevents acciden-tal touching of current carrying parts. Both the male (source) and female (drain) contacts are protected.
