Moorthy sticks to above Gandhian Ideas and reforms the position of village including Social, Religious, Political background.

Shankar is reflection of Gandhiji.

Ratna was also follower of Gandhian ideas. She becomes the leader of the freedom fighters in the Kanthapura in absence of Moorthy.
