Kainos has been part of the Government Digital Services’ Digital by Default programme from the start, and has worked on over 25 digital projects across eight government departments.

And we are one of the leading providers of electronic medical records software in the NHS.

We were the fi rst to deliver a major government transactional service for the Cabinet Offi ce, all the way from discovery to live operation as an agile project.

We’ve been involved in 7 of the 25 exemplar projects and together with our customer departments we’re extending the boundary of what is possible.

We worked on the fi rst government digital service to deploy application and data in the cloud.

We are the fi rst supplier to make use of the UK government’s new Identity Assurance service, which verifi es a citizen’s identity and makes online services more secure.

The Register to Vote service is designed to increase public trust in the electoral system by improving the accuracy and security of the electoral register.

The service is now available to the full electorate in England and Wales, with Scotland to follow.

Agile and open source delivery enabled signifi cant savings against traditional implementation methods.

Cabinet Offi ce - Register to Vote

Five million people are expected to go online to register to vote every year. It is the fi rst

government service to bridge public and private networks.

Defra - CAP

Our solution helps prevent fi nes (‘disallowance’) for making payments that don’t comply with EU CAP rules.

Defra CAP is providing a simpler, clearer, faster way for farmers to apply online for CAP grants worth £49 billion annually across Europe.

DVLA - View Driving Licence

View Driving licence is providing simpler, clearer, faster service for drivers.

Agile and open source delivery enabled signifi cant savings against traditional implementation methods.

It is the fi rst government digital service to deploy application and data in the cloud.

The service has enabled 45 million driver records to be pubished online.

DVSA - MOT Modernisation

The programme is reducing the cost of the technology used by 70,000 MOT testers around the UK.

The project features Kainos working alongside other suppliers in a multi-supplier tower model.
