It’s my pleasure to becoming the part of Kewal Institue of Technical & Vocational Industrial Training. KIT-VIT has been established to conduct Vocational Industrial Training Programmes for enhancing the skills of youths in rural and urban areas of India. KIT-VIT is a Centre for Excellence for conducting Vocational Training Programmes.

Vocational training is broadly defined as any type of job-related learning that raises an individual’s productivity, and includes learning in formal/Informal vocational and technical school programmes in training centers or institutes, and in the workplace, both on and off the job.

India needs more number of skilled people to work in the industries, but the number of people actually trained with the skill sets is very less. This has created a huge vacuum in the Industrial Sector. This vacuum has dampened the progress of industries. When the skilled labour increases, it automatically increases the output and also the quality of output becomes better. So we are into the process of decreasing the unskilled operations and increasing skilled labour.We would like to play a major role in the development of our nation through the promotion of Vocational Industrial Training Courses.

COE’s Message

It gives me immense pleasure to be part of KIT-VIT which is engaged in imparting Vocational Training to students who have not been able to attend Schools/ITI in a regular manner due to various circumstances. The Examination wing will conduct Examinations as per the rules and regulations of KIT-VIT.

We undertake the full range of administrative duties associated with examinations, i.e. conducting examinations, Inspection of examinations, processing examination results, preparing transcripts and certificates etc.

This also entails the communication of results, students’ progress reviews, and preparation of date sheets. The functions of the department also includes the coordination in printing of examination papers, invigilation schedules, calculation of marks dealing with all matters regarding examinations and administrating the internal examination system.

It also advises and guides the instructors and students on regulations and procedures relating to examinations. We issue Certificates and Detailed Marks Certificates on prescribed formats to the successful candidates on request.

After Diploma/Degree Level Courses from Hotel Management institutes there is a wide range of career option available for all the students.

Hotels : One can get placement in different categories of hotels ranging from Indian chain of five star properties such as Taj,Erica Hotels, Oberoi and Welcome group, to an international chain like Hyatt, Sheraton etc. One can get job in different department i.e. Front Office, House Keeping, Food and Beverage Service and Food Production according to their skill and Knowledge and their interest.

Starting Salary: The initial joining can be at entry level with salary of around 10-15K per month or as an Management Trainee with 20K as an stipend after the training is done they can work as a managers with handsome amount of salary. if they join as entry level, they have to start from initial stage with basic salary and within a year or so (according to the work performance) the employee may get promoted to supervisory level with an increment in their salary.

Teaching : Teaching can also be option; they may join one of the IHMs or private colleges/Institutes after approx. 1 year of experience depending upon their academic performance. Initially they may join as assistant lecturer and within 2 years of teaching experience they are eligible for lecturer post. They salary structure is 10k in the starting and reaches up to 30 k, however, it may vary from organization to organization.
