Real-time metrics for the physical world

In our changing world, the physical environment has a major impact on

industries

It can affect crop yields

Determine asset lifetime

Influence productivity

Even impact lives

Waiting for data is a gamble

To mitigate risk, minimize loss and increase productivity, changing conditions demand informed decisions based on data in real-time

With easy to deploy wireless sensors, we’re helping businesses turn real-time environmental data on the

physical world into actionable insights at industry scale.

The ROI of wireless sensors

Notifications inform when action is required

Combination of real-time and historical data increase understanding of environments, improve operations and cut costs

Real-time data improves productivity and efficiency

ZENSIE: the sensor platform for business intelligence

Commercial Farming | Glasshouse Monitoring

Customer: a multinational crop science company.

Challenge: high ethylene levels damage the development of orchids during growth.

Solution: a system integrating ethylene sensors, light sensors and humidity sensors help farmers control key variables driving orchid production.

Using ZENSIE to create a yield enhancing product

Industrial Port Management

Customer: one of Europe’s largest commercial ports.

Challenge: to increase economic activity and productivity within the fixed port space.

Solution I: flow and productivity increased through remote monitoring of the deep sea pillars controlling port entry. Pressure sensors indicate damage, reducing downtime and need for manual inspection.

Solution II: reduced sail time and increased throughput with dock occupancy monitoring. Magnetic sensors installed in port docksto give live heat map, providing ships with clear clear direction on where to dock.

Reducing bottlenecks and increasing productivity

Facilities Management | Office Space

Customer: corporate multinational with office of 100 rooms and 1500 desktop computers.

Challenge: to improve efficiency and lower costs while accommodating a flexible desk and room policy.

Solution: increase in efficiency, reduction in excess capacity. PIR and vibration sensors measuring room occupancy and computer usage generate a live occupancy floor map and analyze peak times and average usage. With each desktop priced at €9,500 a year, 10% reduction in desktops leads to 650% Return on Investment.

Using ZENSIE to identify and reduce overhead costs

Facilities Management | Office Space

Customer: an online education provider.

Challenge: to reduce downtime for users and lower engineer service costs .

Solution: increased uptime and lower service expenditures. ZENSIE Mother provides inside out monitoring, measuring performance within the school and indicating the source of downtime.

Wireless sensors offer a major space for innovationExpected to help the industrial IoT market surpass its consumer counterpart

Industrial IoT has the potential to be bigger than the consumer space. With over 13 billion connected devices in the world and millions more coming online every week, the amount of data that we are collecting is amazing. From street signals to manufacturing plants to construction cranes to jet engines, the aggregate data companies collect will be overwhelming and exciting at the same time. Sensor driven computing is a key area of innovation and growth.

“The agricultural sector continuously keeps searching for ways to improve cultivation and strives for maximal efficiency. The more we measure, the more we know and the better we can arrange our greenhouses. This is why we started working with 30MHz. Together we developed a sensor which can measure the temperature of a pepper from a very close range. The data gives us the opportunity optimize our climate control. We are very enthusiastic about the first results and look forward to working together further.”
