SUMMER ROWINGOPPORTUNTIES

LARA is pleased to offer two opportunities forextra rowing practice this summer:

CHANNEL RATS provides a fun and easy-going workout program led by Loyola coachesthat takes place on the water and on the ERGSat Dammrich Rowing Center. Theprogram culminates in a chance to row in theLincoln Park Lagoon at the Chicago Sprints July6th-8th. This program is open to all currentNovice and Varsity rowers, as well as LARAalumni rowers. Channel Rats runs from June18th-July 8th with T-W-Th evening 1.5 hoursessions from 5-7pm, and on Saturdays from12-2pm on the water. The cost is $175 perrower and includes a t-shirt. BEGINNER AND ADVANCED BEGINNER CREWCAMPS are offered for Jr. High students andincoming LA Freshman interested in rowing.Camps run in weekly sessions from June 18th-August 3rd and costs vary by program. Learnmore in the Loyola Summer Sports CampCatalog here. Register for a Beginner orAdvanced Beginner Crew Camp through theLoyola Academy website here. Help us spreadthe word, grow the sport, and encourageMiddle and Jr. High students to register.
