REVIVE FM-Diocese of Charleston WE HAVE A RADIO STATION Thanks to the generosity of several people we have managed to establish a radio station here in St. James. The objective of the Radio is to Evangelize. Therefore, we are inviting presenters who have a solid Catholic faith to spread the Good News of the Gospel in the hearts of those who will be following us around the world. If you are interested in doing a weekly radio program, you need to contact Felipe Castillo or Suzanne McDonough at the Evangelization Office for more details for more details. Watch for more information on how to access these upcoming broadcast.

PENANCE SERVICE –WEDNESDAY, JUNE 17 We will be offering a Penance Service on Wednesday, June 17, from 4:00PM-6:00PM in English and 7:30PM in Spanish. We will have area priests available to hear your confessions. Each station will be held in different areas of the church and building. Parishioners can also stay in their cars and we will let you know when a priest is available. We ask that everyone wear a mask.

CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION will be held at 10:30AM on Sunday, June 14. We will process outside to each station for special prayers. Both our choirs will be there. Come and join us for this special celebration.

WALL O’ MONEY FUNDRAISER To benefit MISSION ST. JAMES

Please take a look at the fundraiser bulletin board across from the women’s restroom during the season of Lent to help the Mission St. James team! This fundraiser is as simple as placing money in an envelope and returning it to the collection basket at Mass. We pray that you may grow in love for Christ this Lenten season as you choose to empower the poor through your generous donations.

Are you tech savvy? Have an interest in audio/visual/video/graphics? Want to learn something new about technology? We are beginning to form a brand new ministry at St. James with the goal of using technology to help us evangelize, live out our missionary call, and better serve our parishioners!

• Volunteers on the Tech Ministry will assist with: Running the live stream of Masses & other events at St. James (including Holy Hours, Rosaries, weddings, and more).

• Setting up and running the projection of the Mass readings, Mass parts, and songs on the TV's in the Sanctuary.

• Assisting with the set up and maintenance of sound equipment for the Mass & other events at the parish.

• Assisting with various other technology based needs in and around the parish as needed.

DONATIONS NEEDED for a FOUNTAIN for our new irrigation pond on the far side of the Founders Center.

Thanks to the many volunteers from the Hispanic community, who worked hard to put in our new irrigation system throughout the grounds. We would love to have a beautiful fountain flowing in our pond to help make this area as beautiful as the rest of the church grounds. The cost of a fountain that will also help control the algae and bacteria in the pond is around $3,000.00. BACK-TO-SCHOOL ASSISTANCE 2020

Due to the closure of the church during the coronavirus we have decided to extend our time frame for this fundraiser. Our new dates for the drawings are listed below. Thank you to all those who have been turning in their tickets. We have raised $7,990.00. We need everyone to help us reach our goal of $15,000.00 for 2020.

We are hoping that everyone will join in on this fundraiser that supports the church.

¿Eres experto en tecnología? ¿Tiene interés en audio/visual/video/gráficos? ¿Quieres aprender algo nuevo sobre tecnología?

¡Estamos comenzando a formar un nuevo ministerio en St. James con el objetivo de utilizar la tecnología para ayudarnos a evangelizar, vivir nuestro llamado misionero y servir mejor a nuestros feligreses!
