Sometimes the law requires an employerto investigate after a harassment claim, forexample. But other times investigating, anddocumenting your investigation, is just a goodidea.

In either case, tension between employmentlaws and operational goals often place HRbetween a rock and a hard place. After a

brief legal update, this presentation focuses onlaws requiring investigations, guidance on howto conduct a proper investigation, tactics forresolving conflicts, and practical advice aboutwhen to call for outside help.

Participants will also receive writtenmaterials discussing best practices andinvestigation techniques.

This Workshop is designed for the SMALL and LARGE employers. The Napa Chamber is committed to keepingyou informed and supporting your business, that is why we are offering this critical series of workshops again in2010. Book both workshops and save $15.
