We were blessed to have His

Grace Most Rev. Dr. Tho-

mas Mar Koorilos, the met-

ropolitan archbishop of Ti-

ruvalla, to visit our parish on

June 07, 2009. His Grace

celebrated the Holy Mass

with the parish and deliv-

ered an inspiring homily,

where he called upon all of

us to evaluate our priorities

in life, and give a resolute

answer to the divine Chris-

tian call each of us have

been called to live for.

After the Holy Mass, His

Grace spent some time

with the parish members,

where all the parish mem-

bers got an opportunity to

greet him in person and to

be blessed by His Grace.

His visit greatly inspired

us, and renewed the love

and affection we have for

our Syro-Malankara catho-

lic roots.

is a good platform to shape

our Church. We are called to

be living witnesses of

Christ, and to stand firm in

our faith.

One of the greatest chal-

face today, especially in

North America, is the atheis-

tic ideas that saturate popu-

music, literature, and other

forms of media. Despite

this, we can still see an en-

the MCYM to experience

God’s love through partici-

prayer meetings, bible stud-
