Go to dropbox.com

The Home Page!

Click Download the app.


Dropbox downloading starts.


When your download

is complete, run the

Dropbox installer.


Click Run.



Downloading progresses.

Installation progresses.


Once

installation is

done,


a dropbox icon appears in

your notification task bar


and dropbox set up

screen pops up.


To create

your

dropbox

account,


click Sign

up.


Fill up the required fields


then tick this


and click sign up.



Your

dropbox

account!

Click Open my Dropbox folder.


A dropbox folder is

created in your desktop


and a syncing note appears.


Automatically, getting started file

is saved to your dropbox folder.


Lets start saving files in

your dropbox!


From your personal files,



copy and paste desired files

to your dropbox folder,

or click and

drag desired

files to your

dropbox folder.


Blue icon means your file is

syncing with dropbox


and green icon means your

file has finished syncing


and your file is

now saved in the

dropbox website.


Lets check the dropbox

website.


Go to dropbox website


and click Sign in.



A new window opens.

Fill up the required fields


and click sign in.


Your dropbox account page!


Click Files.


See! Your copied files are here!


You can also

upload your files

through the

website.


How? Click the

Upload Icon here.



This appears.

Click Choose files.


File browser opens.


Then choose files from

your computer


by highlighting the desired files


and click open.


Your files are being

uploaded to dropbox.


Files are now successfully

uploaded to dropbox.


Click Done.



Here is your uploaded files.

Four files have

been added to

your dropbox

files.


Lets organize your files by

creating a file

folder.



Click the New folder Icon here

and a new blank

folder is created.


Type the name of your folder.


Point your cursor to the

name of the folder


and click it to

open.


Your folder is still empty!


Lets put files in your folder!


Click Files.


Drag your files to your folder.



Note appears to inform you


that you have successfully

dragged/moved the files.

or point your cursor to the file


then right click your mouse


and click move.


A new window opens.


Click the folder where

you want to save the file


and click move.


A note appears.


Now, lets see the contents of

your new folder.


Point your cursor to the folder


and click to open.



The content of your folder!

You now have

five files in your

folder!


What if you

want to delete a

file?



Point your cursor to the file

then right click on it


and click delete.


A dialogue box opens.


Click delete if you are sure.


You will be notified

of the deletion.


Only four files are

left in your folder.


Now, lets learn how to share

your folder.


On your dropbox files,


point your cursor to the

folder you want to share.


Then right click on it


and click share.


Then click invite

people to collaborate


Since, this will be

the first time,


you are sharing a file

or a folder,


a verification of your

email address will be

done first.


Click Send email.


Its in your email!


Click to open the email.


Your email message!


Click Verify your email.


A notification tab opens.


Click Done.


Lets proceed to sharing your

folder.

and click share


then click invite people

to collaborate


A new window opens.


Type the email address(es) of

your collaborator(s).


Add a message if you

want (optional)


then click Share folder.



You will be notified of the sharing

then a two person icon

appears on your folder.


Lets check the email of your

collaborator.


There it is!


And this is how the

email appears.


If your collaborator will

click View folder,


his computer screen

displays like this.


You have

successfully

shared your folder!


Now, lets try to send a link of

your folder.


point your cursor to the folder

you want to link.


and click share


then click send link.


A new window opens.


Type the email address(es) you

want the folder to link.


Add a message if you

want (optional)


then click Send.



The link is now sent!

Lets check the email where

you send the

link.


There it is!



Your email message!


If the recipient will click the link,

he will be directed to your

dropbox website.



You can also

send a link to

Facebook.


How?



file you want to link.


Right click on it


and click share.


A new window appears.


This appears.


Click import contact.


This appears.


Click Facebook


and Facebook Log in

window opens


Then click Okay.


Dropbox will confirm the posting.


Click Okay if you are sure.


You will be directed to your

dropbox site.


Search the name of your

friend to link with


then click it


and click Send.


You have

successfully linked

your dropbox

folder!

Can deleted files

still be restored?


YES! Let me

show you how.


Click the trash bin icon

(show deleted files).


The list of deleted files

are displayed.

and click restore.


Click restore if you are sure.


A notification appears


and your file is restored.


This time, lets learn to upload

photos to your

dropbox.


On your page, find the

folder camera upload.


Click on it to open.


Your camera folder is still empty!


Lets fill it! First, create a

folder for your

photos.


Click the new folder icon here.


This window opens.


Type the name of your folder


and the email of the people

you want to share.


BUT, you can skip this now

and do it later.


Done? Click create folder.


A notification appears


and there is your folder!


Click on it to open.


Then start uploading your

photos! Click here.


This window opens.


Click choose files.


File browser opens.


Choose the photos you

want to upload


by highlighting them


and click open.


Your photos are now

being uploaded.


It may take awhile. Time for


Uploading done!


If you want to add more

photos, click here.


If you are done, click here.


There is your photos!


Click here to go back to

camera upload folder.


This appears.


Click Camera Upload.


You are back to

your photo folder.


Lets share your photo folder.


Hover your mouse

anywhere here


until share appears here.


Click on it.


This appears.


Click send link.


This window opens.


Type the email add of your

target recipient.


If your contact appears,

click on it.


It will appear like this.


Type your message here

(optional only).


Done? Click send.


A notification appears.


Your photo folder link is

now shared.


Click photos here.


Your photos are

automatically saved here.


Now, you

use Dropbox!


Go and get your

own dropbox

account!
