The Challenge

• Training federations continue to increase in realism, and complexity, requiring higher fidelity environmental representations to drive realistic and consistent behaviors.

• No existing capability to provide correlated support products across all four natural environment domains (Atmosphere, Space, Ocean, Terrain).

• The use of realistic environment representations adds to the expense and complexity of managing large-scale training events.

• Allows interoperable environmental representations and their effects increase realism and consistency within training events– DoD benefits from realistic simulation outcomes
