Join Us For Our 40 th Season Alumni Reunion Gala! Dear Summer Stagers Past & Present! My name is Matt Cloran and I'm proud to say I've been involved with Summer Stage since 1980 as a performer, director and choreographer. I've met and worked with the most amazing (and talented!) people during those unforgettable summers at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center (and one at Beverly Hills Middle School!) and many have remained my dear friends. I'm honored to have been asked to direct the Summer Stage 40th Reunion Show and nothing would make me happier than to see as many of you as possible perform! The reunion show production staff - Julianna Schauerman, Ed Robins, Chris Sapienza, Eric Thompson, Rob Harris, Brian Dietzler, Kevin Dietzler, Abby Shunskis Dietzler, Dan Matarazzo, Brian Walsh and of course Mr. Harry Dietzler - have been meeting for months now piecing together an exciting production that celebrates every aspect of four incredible decades of Magic! The Anniversary Gala will take place on Friday, July 10 at 7:30pm and Saturday, July 11 at 6pm with a reception to follow at 8pm at Drexelbrook. Tickets for all events will be available on June 1st. Our focus in creating the show has been on ensemble - one of the greatest lessons many of us learned while at Summer Stage. Solos will be at a minimum so that we can put as many past and present Summer Stagers in group songs and dances that highlight 40 years of talent and friendship! WE NEED YOU!! No matter how you participated as a Summer Stager, we are asking all alumni to please visit the link below and help us update our Summer Stage history. It is on this form where you can add your name to the cast list of Summer Stage 40th reunion show. Please consider being part of this reunion performance! If you have any problems with the link, please call or text me, Matt Cloran, at 215- 280-6024 . http://www.udpac.org/summerstage/join-alumni-list/ Hope to see you this summer! Best, Matt Cloran P.S. Technicians are VERY welcome to participate, too! We will be paying tribute to all of you! And don’t miss the reception at Drexelbrook following the Saturday night show!

GALA REHEARSAL/SHOW DATES Greetings from the Summer Stage 40th Reunion Show production office! Here it is: the crazy, wonderful reunion show schedule. Yes, there may be a couple of adjustments but it is our plan to go by these dates as much as possible. A Few Very Important Things to Know and some FAQ's: 1. The show is set up by decades with a few extra numbers celebrating Children's Theatre, Shooting Stars and the like. 2. You will be featured in the opening, the closing and your decade (possible more). 3. But Matt, what if I've been part of Summer Stage for more than one decade? Great question! The production team will put you in the decade where we need extra performers. We should be able to tell you in the near future which decade you will be performing in but it will be one of the ones you were a part of. 4. But Matt, I'm not arriving until the week of the reunion show. Can I still be part of it? Yes! We will put you in the opening and closing and find a way to have you be part of your decade albeit in a step-touch, sing ahhh and smile kinda way! ;) Seriously - we want as many Summer Stagers in this show as possible! 5. Hey Matt - I would really LOVE to sing a solo. Can I suggest a number? The show has been written to feature as many ensembles and dancers as possible. There will be solos in each decade and we hope to feature as many people as possible. However, we hope that the main reason you want to come join us is to be a part of a true summer stage ensemble! 6. Hey Matt - I have a question I'd like to ask you through e-mail. May I contact you? Of course: at [email protected]. (Yes - I still have my aol address) 7. What will is cost me? The performers will be in the audience to watch the show and will go to the stage for their numbers. We will be asking you to purchase a ticket for one night and a ticket to the reception if you choose to attend. Thanks all! Can't wait to see everyone!! Just coming to the performance? You can buy tickets online starting June 1 at www.udpac.org. You can also purchase reception tickets online.
