because he is going out with his friends from his newschool. He runs down the stairs. His mother ispreparing lunch.

Johnny's new school fr iends are Nick, Lou andFred. They are classmates. They play soccer on theschool team and do lots of things together. They callthemselves The Gang .

Cynthia is Johnny's classmate too. When he is notwith the gang, he likes to spend time with her. Johnnyand Cynthia usually study together. After school, theyalways chat on the phone.
