Recruitment Strategies
The world of work is changing. When we compare your generation with your
parents generation we can see that your generation has much higher
expectations than your parents’ generation. You are more ambitious, and will
probably have more chances to develop in your career.
However, some employers are complaining that while most of the new employees
have the technical skills and knowledge to work in high tech environments they don’t
have very good communication skills. One employer said that interviewing candidates is
becoming very difficult. Every student has been programmed like a robot to respond in the
same way. We usually choose the candidate who has something different to say compared
with everyone else.
