Competition Sanctioned By: Reserve your space today to compete with some of the most talented pit masters in the St. Louis Region. Following the rules and guidelines of the St. Louis BBQ Society. You will compete in 4 main categories judged by SLBS trained judges. This is about the spirit of competition and samples is only served to the general public by choice of the competitor. Grand Champion: $1500 + Trophy Reserve Grand Champ: $1000 + Trophy Festivals Choice: $300 + Trophy Category Winners: 1 st - $300 + Trophy; 2 nd - $200 + Trophy; 3 rd - $150 + Trophy; 4 th - $100 + Plaque; 5 th –$75 + Plaque; 6 th – $50 + Plaque; 7 th – $25 + Plaque; 8 th - Plaque; 9 th – Medal; 10 th - Medal Hosted by Jerseyville Tourism In Cooperation with the Jersey Co. Street Machines Registration Begins $20 a Spot (Spaces Limited) Saturday 6/1 from 9am-12pm Judging 6/1 from 12-3pm Categories: Best in Show, Best Interior, Best Paint, Best Engine, Mayors Choice Top 25 Dash plaques will be available. Each winner will receive a Trophy or Plaque depending on the Category Fun for the Entire Family! Friday Night enjoy the sounds of Music while enjoying a beverage and showing your support for the American Cancer Societies Relay for Life. Purchase a Wrist Band for $5 for your child to play on all of the blowups and activities (Proceeds on Friday go to the Relay for life). Food trucks and vendors will complete your evening. Saturday Come enjoy all the sights and smells of professional BBQ pit masters, Food is not served by the competitors for public consumption, but food is available from one of the many Food Trucks and Vendors. Beer Garden opens at 10am and Talent graces the stage under the huge circus tent. Games will be back in full swing with wristbands available at a cost of $5. Round out the evening with a program to celebrate 185 th Anniversary of Jerseyville. Followed by a Movie on the Hill at 8:00pm (Dark). Kids Activities Include: Horse Races (Blow up 10 & up), Obstacle Course, 22ft Slide, Bounce Houses (4 and under) (4 and above), Extreme T-Ball, Golf Chipping Challenge, Quarter Back Challenge, Soccer Shootout, & 3pt Challenge .
