• Jersey Population

– The resident population of Jersey as measured by the census was 97,857 in March

2011

Industry

– Some core industries are Retail, Hospitality, E-Commerce, Finance and Construction

Charted Institute for IT Section

– Our Section has 288 members as of the last AGM which is 10% growth on 2009/2010

– Open to all schools on the island – pupils aged 4 – 18. Approximately 500 entries are

expected in May

– Represent industry at annual careers fair (organised by Careers, Jersey

• In conjunction with JT Global, was pleased to arrange for Alan Chambers MBE to meet

our members and with students at Highlands College
