Background &Experience:

over 13 years experience speaking french

Bachelor of Arts in Commercial French Studies from the University of Illinois

Lived in Paris, France for 6 months

Post graduation= Disney World (language+ sales)

Masters in Teaching- National-Louis University

students will acquire:

beginner reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while also gaining insight into Francophone culture.

Grading Scale!

20% homework, participation, skits, projects…

80% summative (tests + evaluative materails)

retakes/make-up policy

What’s different this year?

French club will have 2-3 events per semester. Events will be planned by the Leadership Team.

French Club!

Encourage the use of French at home! (Make them spell, count, or say the date, time, or identify objects in French!)

Encourage use of vocab cards, you can practice together! (Or… there’s an app for that!)
