Agrasar is a non-profit organization working in the field of human capital development and social security of the disadvantaged communities in India. Agrasar seeks to promote sustainable socio- economic development of the marginalized communities by systematically helping them build capacities and realise their true potential. To achieve this, Agrasar endeavours to:  Enable the youth to lead better lives and earn livelihoods in a more meaningful manner by enhancing their skills,  Work with children to provide them with an education that would help them expand their horizons,  Help migrant workers and their families by providing them a platform to lead more dignified lives,  Play a role in influencing impleme ntation of local public scheme s related to t he above themes. Currently, we are expanding and looking for a suitable candidate for the following role - Manager   Communication and Part nerships  Job Profile The manager will have overall responsibility for managing communications and partnerships with various stakeholders like potential funders, corporations, volunteers and the community. The role is envisaged as having involvemen t in diversified areas of the organisation which includes -  Present proposals to corporations about flagship programs as well as upcoming ideas.  Identify sources of prospective volunteers and managing sustained relationship with them.  Prepare and manage a database of interested corporations and volunteers.  Conceptualize, research, collect (using community-sensitive and people-friendly interviewing techniques), write and share diverse, engaging and effective communications materials that promote Agrgasar’s agenda, document our programs, progress and milestones, and inform key stakeholders and the public about our work .  Support field-based staff to strengthen their communications skills and assist them to effectively and appropriately communicate their work and achievements with internal audiences.  Engage in regular reflection, review and refinement of communications efforts, including social media activity reviews.   Taking training sessions with the students in the vocational training centre.  Location    Gurgaon City  Eligibility Criteria  Graduate in any stream. Self motivated persons will be given preference.  A strong interest in developm ental work, especially in the operational aspects.   Willingness to work in t he field with underprivileged communities.  An excellent command of both written and spoken English.  Strong organisational and team working skills, interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills are essential .  Relevant experienc e in any f ield would be preferred Please email your CV to the HR Manager by 25 Au gust 201 4  at [email protected]
