Editors Letter…. Happy New Year to all our readers, distribution

staff, contributors and advertisers. Let's hope

you enjoy another year of the Arrow delivered

to your door!

This month is the start of the sixth year in

business for the Hatfield Arrow. I hope I

can bring as much news, events, local

stories of interest and details of local

businesses offering their products and

services for many more years to come!

As I write this letter for the January edition it is

a snowy 2nd December. I can't get out of the

house; I seem cut off from the world except for

the computer - which, at least, ensures that my

e-mails still get through! By the time you read

this issue of the Arrow we will be reflecting on

how we started the count-down to Christmas

with snow up to our knees. The kids had what

seemed to be an early Christmas break, not

knowing whether they would return to school

before their official holiday.

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone

who delivers the Arrow, you have all done a

tremendous job and delivered in all weathers. I

know it was particularly tough delivering the

December issue. It is much appreciated by

myself and of course our readers.

Here is to a prosperous New Year, and don't

forget keep your articles coming in and if

anyone would like to advertise, please be in

touch. Enjoy the read.

of the Royal British Legion retired this year as

Parade Marshall of Hatfield's

Remembrance Sunday parade after forty four

years service. He handed the position over to

Mr Michael Bizeray, also a member of his

branch. At the December meeting of Hatfield

Town Council Mr Window was awarded with a

certificate of appreciation for services to the

local community. This year he also retired as

Hatfield district Poppy Appeal co-ordinator,

handing the position over to Legion branch

member David Fiennes-Gregory. Many thanks

to Mr Window who is a former Commandant

of Doncaster Division Special Constabulary, a

Yeoman of the Guard, and with a coloured

service history both to country and community.

Caroline Flint celebrates School

Dinners’ Week Caroline Flint gave

her backing to

National School

Dinners Week, this

week, with a visit to

Thorne Brooke

Primary School.

Ms Flint met head

teacher Sally Kimber before joining children for

a healthy school dinner, including cheese quiche,

jacket potato and salad, with a desert of fruit

wedges or chocolate sponge pudding and

custard.

Said Caroline: “School dinners have been

greatly improved in recent years.

“A good school dinner is sometimes the most

nutritious meal a child has in their day; and plays

an important role in getting children familiar

with eating fruit and vegetables.

“Eating a balanced diet, with healthy and varied

options makes for healthy children who can

enjoy school and are ready to learn.

“Like many schools Thorne Brooke‟s tasty and

varied menus are cooked on the premises and

the staff do a wonderful and important job.”

Head teacher Sally Kimber said: “The children

really enjoyed showing Caroline around school,

and having the chance to ask and answer

questions over lunch. They are all asking when

they can go to visit her in London. We look

forward to future visits.”

FLOWERS FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL

I would like to apologise to Mrs K Shaw and her

sister Eileen Agar for printing incorrect

information in last months issue.

Mrs Agar is Kathleen Shaw‟s sister and calls

round twice a week to see if she can offer any

help to Mrs Shaw‟s husband Pete.

Mrs Shaw is looked after by her husband Pete

and carers from the Andrea Thompson DMBC

Council Carers. Mrs Agar helps many people as

well as having 2 jobs and running her own

home. Mrs Shaw says that Mrs Agar is amazing.

She is caring and kind and is always willing to

help others.

FLOWERS FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL

I would like to nominate my friend Amanda

Colclough, as someone special and very

deserving of flowers to cheer her up. I have

been friends with Amanda for 25 years now.

During that time she has always been there

whenever I've needed her. When her daughter

Tara was pregnant and had a blood clot,

Amanda went to Tara's house twice a day to

give blood thinning injections. When Amanda's

brother Mark was ill with pneumonia and on

ICU, she was there all the time, and Mark told

me she was the best sister in the world.

Amanda's world collapsed a year ago when her

brother mark died suddenly at the age of 44.

This was a terrible time for the whole family and

I know Amanda was under extreme pressure

and tried to prop up everyone especially her

Mum Jean. Amanda has had another

bereavement recently when her Grandad 'Pops' lost his battle with cancer.

Flowers won't make any of this go away Julie,

Amanda is really down at the minute. But it may

make Amanda realise that a lot of people love

and appreciate her and what she does for other

people.

Thanks Jill Hughes

Seized property helps allotment holders in Stainforth. Members of the allotments on Oldfield Lane at Stainforth have benefited after officers

from the safer neighbourhood team donated equipment that had been recovered

during drug raids.

As part of their daily patrols, Police Community Support

Officers (PCSO) regularly visit the allotments and speak

to the members. During one of their patrols, it became

apparent that they needed equipment to help them

store water.

After liaising with the property department officers

managed to acquire water butts and plant pots that had

been recovered during a drug raid in Doncaster.

PCSO Graeme Duffin and Paula Simpson met with the

chairperson and members at the allotment to pass on

the equipment.

PCSO Graeme Duffin said: “We hope this equipment

will help the allotment holders carry on the good work

they are doing. There is a real community spirit there

and it is always nice to be able to give something back to

the community.”

Congratulations! To Mrs Evelyn Hoff from Hatfield. Mrs Hoff loves spending hours in the Garden and last year arranged

an Open Gardens weekend in Hatfield to raise much needed funds

for Cancer Research. As Mrs Hoff‟s garden was so beautiful and

because she had taken a lot of pride in preparing it for the Open

Gardens weekend, Mr Hoff decided to enter it into the „21st Doncaster in Bloom‟ competition which was held throughout June,

July and August 2010. The winners of the 21st Doncaster in Bloom

competition were unveiled at a celebration event at the Keepmoat

stadium on 03/11/2010.

The competition recognises all green-fingered residents, businesses

and local organisations around the borough for their dedication to

their gardens and

community areas.

Mrs Hoff was

awarded 1st Prize

in the Best Presented Garden category and was

also awarded a Gold Standard Award. The judges

were especially impressed with Mrs Hoff‟s garden

because it is beautiful all year round and not just

throughout the Summer months. Mrs Hoff was

awarded a Glass Trophy and a mounted

certificate.

NORTH EAST DONCASTER CITIZENS

ADVICE BUREAU

Advice Column

I moved into a private rented flat about a year ago. Just recently I’ve become

worried that my landlord hasn’t been paying the mortgage. I’ve heard I could

be evicted without notice even if I’m up to date with my rent. Is this correct?

Until October it‟s true that you could have been evicted by your landlord‟s mortgage lender without

notice if your landlord was repossessed due to mortgage arrears, but you now have new protection.

If your landlord falls behind with mortgage payments, the mortgage lender can go to court to get

possession of the property. When the lender has got possession, they can usually evict anyone who

is living there. This includes tenants, even if they are up-to-date with their rent.

However new rules now mean you can ask the court or the mortgage lender to delay possession of

your home by up to two months to give you time to find somewhere else to live.

You have two opportunities to do this. You can make an application to attend court and ask the

judge at the possession hearing to give you more time before you have to leave. Or after the

possession order is made you can ask the landlord's mortgage lender to give you more time to leave. If the lender refuses, you can apply to the court instead.

You may have more rights to stay if:

the type of mortgage your landlord has allows them to rent out the property, or

you were living in the property before the mortgage was taken out, or your landlord's lender has recognised your tenancy in some way, for example, by asking you to pay

them rent. For more information about when you can be evicted by your landlord's mortgage lender and what

you can do about it, see the Citizens Advice website www.adviceguide.org.uk

ANIMAL CARE

FOR THE FUTURE

PETS HAVE TEETH TOO! Many people underestimate the importance of good dental care for their pets. In animals as well as in humans it is critical that the teeth and gums are kept clean and free from plaque. It is estimated that two thirds of cats and dogs over 3 years of age suffer from dental disease that can cause them pain and ill health.

WARNING SIGNS

Offensive breath

Tartar

Loose teeth

Red, swollen and painful gums

Difficulty in eating/loss of appetite.

Should your pet develop any of these symptoms, it is advisable that you seek veterinary advice. Most animals have bad breath but if it is strong smelling and offensive there could be a problem All problems start with plaque! Long term over-growth of bacteria normally found in the mouth can lead to plaque and tartar formation. Infection caused by a build up of plaque if left untreated can spread to other parts of the body such as the heart and kidneys, with serious health consequences.

HOME DENTAL CARE Keeping up with your pet’s dental health at home is easy. There are many products to help you but pet toothpaste and brushing at least twice a week remains the gold standard. This is best started when the dog or cat is very young even though we would expect there to be no tooth problems at that age. Brushing Be gentle and patient whilst brushing. Use the correct sized brush for your pet. For example if it’s a puppy a simple finger tooth brush with very soft texture is best. But adult teeth need a toothbrush that’s a bit harder. Toothpaste Always use pet toothpaste NEVER human. Most good pet toothpastes contain an enzyme which along with gentle brushing help break down light plaque and reduces smelly breath. Check ups Regular examination of your pet’s mouth both at home and in the vets is important to spot problems early and plan future treatment. If you are at all worried call us at the surgery where staff will be pleased to give advice or book your pet in for a free dental check.

During January and February 2011 Evolution are hoping to improve pets oral health by

offering 25% of our dental procedures

Maggie McManus

joined the Thorne

Slimlines class in April

of this year and has

lost a staggering 50lbs

in four months! Says

Maggie " I have been a yo yo dieter for most of

my life, joining every slimming club going ,trying

every diet going but never succeeding! I had de-

cided not to try anymore, as most of the diets

seemed to stop you enjoying a normal life.

However I slowly started to put more and more

weight on and found my health was starting to suffer! I couldn't bend down to fasten my shoes

laces, couldn't play with my grandchildren, my hips

were really hurting me due to all my excess

weight and I was compounding the situation by

stuffing my face more and more (especially cakes .

bread potatoes etc) with all the high calorie foods

which I couldn't burn off because I couldn't move!!!

I had seen adverts for slimlines so I decided to have one last ditch attempt at losing weight. When I

walked into the meeting I was surprised at how many people were losing weight! The manager Lyn

made me feel really welcome and I thoroughly enjoy the meeting ,she makes you laugh so much but

always gets down to the point!

I decided to do the 'low carb' weight loss option which suits me best but there are 6 others to

choose from and all incorporate the 'banking system' which enables you to have one or two free

days where you can eat and drink what you like.

I am now 50lb lighter and I feel brilliant! I have another 2 stone to lose which I am determined to do

in time for Christmas. So please don't give up, just join Slimlines!

Partnership with Merksplas, Belgium

A committee of people from Hatfield, Hatfield Woodhouse, Dunscroft and Dunsville – including

representatives from the Hatfield Band, the local schools, the Girl Guides and the Cricket Club meet

regularly to build bridges between the communities of Hatfield and the Belgian town of Merksplas.

Hatfield and Merksplas have a shared history. Corporal John William Harper V.C. a local lad was

responsible for liberating the town of Merksplas during the 2nd World War. His story as the Yorkshire

Tyke who received the Victoria Cross for his bravery was featured in the boy‟s comic „The Victor‟.

Our partnership now looks to the future.

Our aims are

To make social, educational and cultural links with Merksplas.

To encourage and facilitate visits by individuals and groups to broaden the mutual

understanding of the two communities

To raise funds by holding social events to support these activities.

Already the children of Hatfield Woodhouse have benefitted from emails, gifts and letter from the

children of Merksplas. During 2011 it is anticipated that teacher-exchange visits will develop shared

learning with all the Hatfield and Merksplas schools. Eventually it is hoped groups of children will be

able to visit reciprocal schools.

Merksplas is a beautiful town in the Antwerp region of Belgium. The friendly, welcoming people are

known as the „ Splashers‟ because the town‟s low lying geography meant that in the past, they

needed to wade through puddles to get home! The small town centre is based round a square in

front of the town-hall and new library building. Like Hatfield, a large prison provides employment for

many, in the predominantly rural area. There are two large primary schools and the children are

taught to have pride in their local history. Virtually every-one speaks English as well as their native

Flemish.

At their own expense, many of the committee have visited and been enchanted by Merksplas and it‟s

people. We want others to share our enthusiasm for the growing friendship between the two

European communities.

If you are a member of a local group who would like to find out more about the Partnership please

come along to our next meeting in the town offices at 6.00pm on 18th January 2011 or ring

Our Indian Travis Tree

As usual, this has been a very busy

time at Hatfield Travis School,

especially with the snow and

Christmas preparations. We hope

that the snow hasn‟t affected you

too much! Working with St

Lawrence Church, we have

designed and decorated our own

Christmas tree to be displayed in

church. We chose the topic of

India because the Year 2 children

have just completed their Indian

topic.

The reporters have commented on our activity day, when we created the

decorations.

I did a Mehndi pattern to put on the tree and I did two of them. I liked it because it was

easy. I did crosses on it because I like crosses. We decorate trees for God and Jesus

because Jesus came down to Earth.- Jack

At school we have made decorations for

the Indian tree. We made lots of

different decorations. They were pretty

and it was fun. We made lots of

decorations as in elephants and some

camels.- Millie

I like the Indian tree because they have

beautiful patterns. I made a stripy

camel.-Leo

I decorated a shiny star and it went to

Church for the Indian tree. I also have

helped decorate the Beaver tree in

Church. –Daniel.

I know that in India they have a very big elephants that can lift heavy things- Mackenzie.

We are looking forward to visiting our tree and the others at the

church over the Christmas holiday. We hope that you have a peaceful

Christmas and a happy New Year.

Laurent Berges is a local resident (Auckley) since 2002.

Originally from France, Laurent is currently Head of a large

Hospitality and Tourism College in West Yorkshire. He is

classically trained in French Cuisine and graduated from the

Ecole Hoteliere de Toulouse, France. Having worked in

several high profiles restaurants and hotels in France (some

with a prestigious Michelin Star), he moved to the UK in

1996 to continue his studies before starting a career in

Further and Higher Education. He is promoting fine dining

recipes to our readers and hopes that local residents will try

them out and enjoy them!

Butternut Squash, Ginger and Orange Soup

Many of us will have enjoyed too much festive food during the Christmas and New Year

celebrations, so for this month recipe, I have chosen a healthy soup that can be cooked to warm up cold, wintery evenings, without worrying too much about calorie content. Soups are inexpensive to

make and are a great way of getting close to your 5 a day! As with any recipes, use quality

ingredients for best results. I would recommend an organic vegetable stock base for this one. If you

haven‟t got the time to make one, they are readily available in most supermarkets.

Ingredients for 4 portions:

2 tbsp olive oil

1 onion, finely sliced

1 clove of garlic, crushed

750g butternut-squash

¼ tbsp ground ginger

600 ml organic vegetable stock

100 ml pure orange juice

salt and black pepper

Method:

Cut the butternut squash in 1 cm cubes. Chop the onion

In a large saucepan, gently heat the olive oil

Add the onions and garlic to the pan and cook until softened (but not coloured)

Add the butternut squash and the ginger, Cook for another 5 to 10 minutes.

Add the vegetable stock and orange juice and simmer for 45 minutes until the

butternut squash is soft

Cool for 10 minutes

Puree with a hand held blender until the soup is really smooth

Season to taste

Serve with a swirl of single organic cream, and a coriander leave.

The Difference Top10 of 2010

I enjoyed the feedback from Arrow readers to last year’s Top

10 so much I thought I would give it another go. Mind you, I’m

hoping not to repeat last year’s record of upsetting 26 people from the village and three letters of complaint. I can honestly

say I never thought that it would be so difficult to congratulate

people and thank them for being, well, great. Anyway here goes……..

and in no particular order.

Peter Fowler & Family

I first came across the Fowlers in my younger days in Hatfield Woodhouse. Even though I mortified

Mrs Fowler when I asked for HP sauce when they took me to The Indus Indian restaurant, I have

great memories of my time of „hanging around‟ with their son Dean. I have included them in this list

because even in this troublesome economic climate they have continued to provide work for a great

bunch of people and their families. It gives me a sense of hope when I see the Fowler vans setting off

all around the UK in a morning and my fingers and toes are crossed it continues for many years to

come.

RAID (Resident against inappropriate developments)

I have included these for a second year running because they continue to work tirelessly to improve

the life and environment of those who live in Hatfield. Under intense pressure they have not lost

faith and continue to ensure Hatfield and the area will not be spoilt by big business flexing its

corporate muscle. Even though we have been promised that Stainforth will become the next

Monaco marina, RAID will not be fooled, so please give them your support as and when needed.

The Landlords & Landladies of Hatfield

Most of you will have figured out by now that I have a lot of time for the village pubs. How else

would I have ended up with such an athletic figure? And so these people make it into my top 10 for

working hard along with their staff in keeping the pubs of Hatfield open through these tricky times.

Well done to the Ingram Arms for winning the Inter-Pub Knockout, to Mark from The Chase and

the lads from The Blue Bell for raising such competitive teams, and to Chris and Andy from the Bay

Horse for keeping my vegetable intake as respectable as it could be. Who would have thought I

would be having real ale and cheese and biscuits every Sunday lunch in the Ingram Arms bar?

Gordon Harper

As far as I am concerned Gordon is “Mr Hatfield”. Cut him in half and he would have Hatfield all the

way through him like Blackpool Rock. He deserves to be in my top 10 for working tirelessly within

various groups and organisations within Hatfield and for genuinely being a “top bloke”. Even though

his mate Dave Culshaw will say he made it into my top 10 before Gordon - and that he passed his

11-plus - any man would be hard-pressed to work as hard for Hatfield as Gordon.

Paul Walker & Family Butchers

My mum always had two rules. We must have decent shoes on our feet and decent meat on our

dinner plates. It‟s heart-warming to see the queue outside Walkers every Saturday morning as

people wait patiently for their Sunday joint. I honestly think my 41 wickets this season are down to

mum insisting on Walkers‟ cold meat for the cricket teas at Hatfield Town. As well as providing

good quality produce, mum tells me the conversation and shop banter is always a pleasure. I can

only begin to imagine how people from the community have benefited from having a good friendly butcher on their doorstep. The Hatfield Library Staff – Every since the penny dropped at

University and I realised the prettiest girls were found in the library, I have always had a lot of time

for this wonderful service. I called in to Hatfield library about three months ago and

Page 29: Jauary 11, The Hatfield Arrow, Issue 6

marvelled at the effort and genuine love for the service undertaken by the staff. It really made me

smile seeing the young faces benefiting from having an opportunity to sample the delights of the

written word. Children may love Nintendo Wii‟s and X Box‟s but give them a well-written book and

their imagination runs riot. My dream would be to establish a reading club where parents can use

the library to take it in turns to read to children and take them on a journey of discovery.

Manor View Residential Home Staff – Having spent the last few years playing cricket on the

field beside Manor View I have developed an immense amount of respect and admiration for the

work they do. Although the cricketers may have smashed a few windows, and once released a pair

of cockatiels via a well-directed cow corner smash, I am sure they would be the first to admit that

the work the staff do is hard but equally rewarding. They undertake their caring with respect and

compassion and I would like to take this opportunity to applaud them. Ian Gibson / Tickled Pink/

No 4 Cafe and Charlottes Florists – With the High Street looking a bit tired in places its lovely

to see these businesses working hard to keep the centre of the village vibrant and alive. I can only

imagine how hard it has been to keep things going but all of these proprietors have really impressed

me how they have provided both a service and employment for people from the area. It‟s always

good to see the cafe full of people having a good old natter, getting some constructive feedback

from Ian and Rhoda, and to see the lovely ladies from Tickled Pink nip out for lunch. And Tracy has

saved me on a number of occasions when I have needed flowers due to upsetting my mum.

Michelle Houston / Dave Terry & Fundraisers – I would like to say a huge well done to

Michelle and Dave who through they‟re own hard work and endeavour raised thousands of pounds for charity. Along with their partners and support team Michelle and Dave have done a great job in

helping those less fortunate than themselves in life. I would also wish to congratulate all those other

fund raisers in the Hatfield area.

The Servicemen and women serving abroad – It can‟t be easy being away from your family

and friends at the best of times so I would like to salute all those from the area who have served

and continue to serve their country. I don‟t want to get into the why‟s and what-have-you‟s of such

conflicts all I know is that it takes an immense amount of courage to do what these young men and

women do. My thoughts go out to the family of Liam Maughan and all the others that have been

wounded in active service.

And so there you have it, The Difference Top 10 awards for 2010. Please don‟t be offended if you

or your group/business has not appeared on the list, I genuinely wish everyone all the best for 2011

and hope that things

continue to look up for

the area. It isn‟t such a

bad place to live and it

will hardly be five

minutes before we are

all basking in the

summer sunshine and I

am once again weaving

my magic on the

Hatfield Town cricket

field.

Happy 2011 – PW

First of all, we‟d like to say Happy New Year to all of our readers! December this year

at Hatfield Woodhouse Primary School has been particularly exciting.

The Little Red Robin

This year, KS1 performed a Christmas

play “The Little Red Robin.” The

performance was about a little robin,

who heard angels singing on the first

Christmas night. He wondered what

they were singing about and so began

his search for the illusive song words

and Baby Jesus. The parents and

friends of Hatfield Woodhouse Primary

School thoroughly enjoyed the concert.

Once again the teachers, staff and

children of KS1 have pulled off an

amazing concert to be proud of.

KS2 Christmas Carol Service

This year KS2 performed a wonderful

Christmas concert. There were lots of

brilliant songs, a recorder group, guitar

performances, keyboard players and

reading parts. The audience really

enjoyed the show. We would also like to

say a big thank you to all the members

of staff for putting it together.

Year 5 and 6 Trip to the Dome

Year 5 and 6 went on a trip to the Dome in Doncaster on a cold sunny day in November.

They went to watch „A Midsummer Night‟s Dream‟ by William Shakespeare. They

thoroughly enjoyed the trip and found the story absolutely wonderful and hilarious.

Pantomime

A really successful Christmas Fayre meant that the PTA are able to take the whole

school to see „Aladdin‟ at the New Theatre in Hull next week. We are extremely

excited about this event.

The Snow and The Flood

As we are writing it is extremely cold and there is a deep covering of snow on the

ground. On the 29th of November 2010 a pipe burst above the main entrance to the

school, causing damage to the ceiling and flooding the corridor outside Mrs Acton‟s

office and also in the ICT suite. This led to the closure of the school for a day, we had

one day back at school and then the snowy conditions meant that school was closed

again for three days! This is the second

time flooding from a burst pipe has closed

the school this year and we are hoping

that 2011 will be a much better year for

us and for you too!

Happy 2011 from Christie, Frankie,

Tommy and Ben! Please send any replies/questions to the

school address below.

Very happy New Year to all our readers.

With winter starting early last year in November, here is advice for driving on snow and ice

especially with freezing conditions most likely to continue this year.

Avoid travelling unless completely necessary and don‟t ignore police warnings or advice to not

travel on specific routes. If staying at home in the warm is not an option use the following advice on

driving safely through this period.

Make sure your windows are clear and that you have all-round visibility before you set off. Also take

the time to clear snow off the roof of your car.

When driving in snow get your speed right - not too fast that you risk losing control but not so

slow that you risk losing momentum when you need it.

Start gently from stationary avoiding high revs. Stay in a higher gear for better control and if it is

slippery move off in a higher gear rather than just using first gear.

If you get yourself into a skid the main thing to remember is to take your foot off the gas pedal and

steer. Only use the brake if you cannot steer out of trouble. Double or even triple your normal

stopping distance from the vehicle in front so you are not relying on your brakes to be able to stop.

It simply may not happen!

It‟s better to think ahead as you drive to keep moving even if it is at walking pace.

Plan your journey around busier roads as they are more likely to have been gritted. Avoid using

short cuts on minor roads – they are less likely to be cleared or treated with salt especially country

lanes and housing areas. Bends are a particular problem in slippery conditions – slow down before you get to the

bend so that by the time you turn the steering wheel you have already lost enough speed. On a

downhill slope get your speed low before you start the descent and do not let it build up – it is

much easier to keep it low than to try and slow down once things get slippery.

If the worst does happen keep track of where you are. If you do have to call for assistance you need

to be able to tell the breakdown or emergency services your location so they can find you.

If you must leave your vehicle to telephone for assistance find a safe place to stand away from the

traffic flow. If you have just lost control the next driver could well do the same in the same place.

On motorways and dual carriageways it is always

better to leave your vehicle and stand a

short distance behind and to the safe side of it.

Don‟t stand in front of it if at all possible.

Balancing the risks of a collision and hypothermia

is something that depends on your

situation.

If you are interested in the courses that we offer,

you‟ll be able to find this information on the

Institute of Advanced Motorists website at

Looking for space to meet and share ideas

with other people about the hobbies you

have or the hobbies you would like to

have?

Ever wanted to talk about books you have read

or share ideas about books that others have

enjoyed?

Sharing ideas and learning together does not

need you to enrol on a course. Does the idea of

a small informal group meeting together to learn

together about a subject that interests them

have any appeal?

If any of the above sounds a good idea to you –

why not use the space that we have available at

Hatfield Learning Centre (Thorne Road) as

your base. We have a large room with tables

and chairs that can easily take 10 - 12 people

comfortably. There is a kitchen where you can

make a hot drink too

No teacher needed – you will organise yourselves and learn what you want to learn.

Give us a call (Scott or Ellen on 01405 817153)

to talk over your plans.
