opportunity, cultural information, cuisine and music to residentsof Rawalpindi. It will not only help to promote image ofRawalpindi by encouraging tourism & festivity but will also providea recreational opportunity to the residents.

follower show as a part of the festival

Band of Potohar

A battle of the bands competition among the musical bands of

Rawalpindi will be arranged during the festival.

Potohar Mushaira

Popular poets of Rawalpindi will be invited in the Mushaira

Voice of Potohar ( Singing competition among inhabitantsof Rawalpindi )

Rawalpindi.

Boogie WoogieA dance competition among the children of Rawalpindi.

Magic & Puppet Show

Magic, Juggling and Puppet show will also be the part of

activity zone.

Colors of PotoharPainting competition will be held with the theme of Think Green

Food Tastes of PotoharA food street in which all famous restaurants of

Rawalpindi/Islamabad will be invited to set their stalls.

Cultural Performances:

Local artist will perform dances like bhangra and Jhomeractively clad in their tradition colorful dresses on the beatof drum in a bid to amuse the visitors.

Photography Competition: a photographic

competition of Cultural, Historical & Tourist places etc willbe organized to promote the tourism.

Artisan at WorkA number of artisans will participate in this artisan at work exhibition fromRawalpindi and different parts of the country and will show their skills on

spot.

Cooking & Mehndi Competitions, Musical Chair andmuch much more

Informational Stalls:Jashan e Baharan Festival will be a mega event which will witness mass level

participation. It will be a great occasion to create awareness at large. We

utilize the opportunity for mass education and ask related departments like

Health, Rescue 1122, Sanitation, Civil Defense, PHA, Traffic Police etc to setup their informational stalls and create awareness regarding emergency

help, cleanliness, plantation and road safety etc.
