In December we able to bless eleven families through Love Thy Neighbor Tree gifts.
December was International Missions month. We gave $1711 to the “Lottie Moon Christmas Offering”.
His Love and Tell His Story to the ones that Jesus loves during this time of year. One family had wrapped empty boxes under the tree which we were able to replace with in a demonstration of God’s love and faithfulness.
As we begin the new year, let us continue to Show & Tell the love of Christ to our community. Remember that we are His witnesses in Lincoln.

Happy New Year! I pray that you had a wonderful and blessed Christmas. Please keep our sister Joyce Belk and her family in your prayers as they mourn the passing of our dear friend and brother Jim. Though it was a sad end to the 2016 year we can rejoice that Jim’s suffering is at an end and he is in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
There were also great blessings during the year as we once again participated in the annual Christmas parade. This is an important activity in that it keeps First Baptist Church visible in the community. Thanks to the generosity of the church, we were also able to bless eleven families with at least seventy-two individual gifts including a new testament for each family.
