Course Balloting for 2016-17! Although we are only at the mid-point of the current school year, it is time to look ahead to the 2016-17 school yearcourse balloting time is here! Class presentations by counselors and ballot distribution are set to take place at the end of January. All students must turn in their completed ballot to their English teacher. Prior to submitting their completed ballot, students and parents will need to review the course offerings available and make selections based upon interest and academic ability. Teacher recommendations are also provided based upon the students academic performance and effort. In addition, students must meet pre-requisites for select courses. Beyer will continue to offer a strong selection of elective and Advanced Placement (AP) classes to compliment the core academic college prep course offerings. A few new elective courses are on the ballot as well this year: AP Music Theory, Drama, Introduction to Structured Programming, and Robotics Engineering III. Every effort is made to provide your student their first elective course selection
