Hi Friends! Welcome to the winter edition of our events calendar! I hope you are enjoying several outdoor activities like sledding, skating, skiing, building snowmen and making snow angels!

When you’re ready for a break - head over to the library - we have many exciting things happening in January and February! A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: The library begins new hours of operation effective January 2. Please see page 4 for a listing.

Partnering for the kids in the community. We have a new partner for our Winter Reading Adventure! Every child who completes the reading program will receive a coupon (while

supply lasts) for a free Mini Blizzard Courtesy of Dairy Queen on N. Broadway in De Pere. And remember - each ‘bingo’ acts as an entry to win a 4-pack of tickets to see Disney on Ice: Dare to Dream! Learn to Write Computer Code and Build Small Electronics with ARDUINO!

Arduino is a credit card-sized, programmable microcontroller that can read sensors, turn on lights, run motors, and more, based on the code you write. Arduino at the Library For students ages 10-18; parents welcome to attend.

Arduino Club: Guided Project and Free Play! For students ages 10-18 who have attended an Arduino at the Library class.

Share “1000 Books Before Kindergarten!” For ages 0-6 and their adults Reading and talking about books with little ones starting at birth is the best way to help them get ready to read on their own. This long-term project encourages adults to read as many books as possible to young children, with a chance to win a prize for each completed 50-book reading record.
