Michelangelo was an Italian sculptor, painter, poet, and architect

Achievements

He is most famous for his painting of the ceiling in the Sistine Chapel in Rome, which he painted from1508-1512

marble statue that he sculptured of David The sculpture stood 14 feet and 3 inches

tall.

Raphael

Raphael was a painter and architect. He was the youngest out of Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo

Achievements

Raphael’s most famous paintings is called The School of Athens. It shows famous Greek thinkers and scientists, such as Plato and Aristotle

painting called the Sistine Madonna. The painting is known for the strange facial expressions on Mary and the child of Jesus.
