Coal block allocation case: Supreme Court reserves order in coal block

allocation case. Steel, power producers seek appointment of judicial

committee. Appointment of judicial panel sought for fact findings. Supreme

Court has not given any date to pass the order.

Lanco Infratech-Plans to sell additional 3,000 MW assets. Asset sale to raise

Rs 5,000 crore in cash, reduce additional debt of Rs 15,000 crore.

Biocon-Arm Biocon Research in agreement with GE Equity International

Mauritius. Arm to buy GE Capital's investment in Syngene International for

Rs 215.4 crore. GE Capital had a 7.69 percent stake in Syngene.

IRB Infrastructure AGM-Committed Rs 2,850 crore as equity investment in

projects under implementation. Been declared qualified to bid for Rs 5,319

crore BOT project with NHAI. Already qualified to bid for road projects worth

Rs 33,000 crore. No plans to buy any stressed assets right now.

Government hopeful of divesting stake in SAIL this month. New retail

participation norms for offer for sale (OFS) to apply for SAIL divestment.

Government could reserve upto 20 percent bucket for retail investor in SAIL

OFS. Government to communicate OFS announcement 2 days prior to issue.

Extra 1-day window for announcement to enhance retail participation.

Cabinet committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) nod awaited for ONGC, Coal

India, NHPC stake sale, Coal India, ONGC road-shows likely a month after

CCEA nod.

NSE F&O changes-5 scrips to be added to NSE F&O w.e.f today. Eicher

Motors , Motherson Sumi, Mindtree, SKS Microfinance and TVS Motor.

Diesel price may be cut; petrol by Re 1/litre. Possibility of reduction in retail
