IGNITING YOUNG MINDS (IYM) is a LEADERS FOR TOMORROW initiative to

enhance the growth and development of children belonging to the lower

economic strata of the society

Instead of worrying about the widening gap between the rich and poor,

we believe to take action so that it creates a positive impact in the less

privileged. Through IYM we consolidate the power of youth in India to

put in a collective effort to impart training to the economically deprived

children of the society.

yTraining Kids on various aspects of life skills such as confidencebuilding, spoken English, personal hygiene etc

yCombining practical sessions on life skills and activity-basedgames, so that the young children understand the concept.

yCollege going students use their acquired knowledge and skillsand work with these kids giving only an hour of service a week for

14 weeks

y Two centers to host IYM sessions North campus centre South campus centre

y Target Group: Children of the age group (10-14)y 42 sessions to be conducted at each centre.

Phase 1 : 21 sessions (September-November) Phase 2 : 21 sessions (February- April)

y College students from across Delhi will give an hour of service per week for 14 weeks.y 30 kids of the age group 12-14 to be selected at both the centres/y Video documentation of kids before the beginning of the program me and after 21

sessions to track their progress.

y Newsletter with a detailed report at the end ofPhase 1 and Phase 2.

y Desired candidates have to fill up IYM registration forms.y A volunteer has to signup up for a minimum of 14 weeksy Registration to start in Augusty Online registration on IYM website
