Madison Farm Short Course. We hope with this early notice, you will be able to encourage more of your students to complete this application. The applicants must be high school seniors who want to continue their education in the agriculture or agriculture related field. They must enroll in a diploma, associate degree, or degree program. Payment will be awarded after one semester of successful completion with a 2.25 grade point average or higher, and proof of enrollment for next semester classes is submitted to the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College Young Farmers Association. The Young Farmers Association here at NWTC is made up of adults that are typically farm owner / operators taking classes throughout the district at 14 country class sites. Many of them are active in your local community, and have sons and daughters in your school. A scholarship application is enclosed. Feel free to make as many copies as needed. All applications must be returned by March 4, 2011 to the Agriculture Department, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, 2740 West Mason Street, PO Box 19042, Green Bay WI 54307-9042. The scholarship winners will be notified with in a few days and hopefully introduced at the NWTC Young Farmers Association Banquet on April 8, 2011.
