International meeting 4-8 November 2013 Comenius Project "Good Enviromental Educational Practices Exchange" Programme Monday 4 November Guests' arrival Tuesday 5 8.30-11.00: Official welcome at school by the Rettore/ Principal, Ms Giulia Guglielmini; Ms Pia Deidda and Ms Anna Enrico, responsible for the Health and Environment area; Ms Nadia Zoppas, responsible for Multicultural Exchanges; Mr Vinti, representing the teachers of scientific department Students introduce the PP with the three activities agreed on. 11.00-11.30: Coffee break 11.30-13.00: Social games for students and teachers from the four nations, split up into three mixed groups. Short visit of the school organized by III F students. 13.00: Lunch in Convitto 14.00-16.00: departure for Valentino's Park (bus n° 67); guided visit of Valentino's gardens and castle with drama interludes about nature, organised by III F students. 16.00-17.00: from Valentino's Park to Teatro Regio on San Francesco's Horse. 17.00-19.00: A taste of an Italian Opera based on a Spanish story: guided visit of Regio Theatre and rehearsals of "Il Barbiere di Siviglia". Students: evening in families Guest teachers: aperitif in Convitto and stroll in Quadrilatero Romano (the heart of Turin) Wednesday 6 8.30-9.30: Lecture by Mr Renato Martin, Physics and Maths' teacher, member of the Italian Metereological Society on "The effects of the climatic change on the Alpin ecosystem" 10.00-12.00: Meeting at the Town Hall (Sala delle Colonne) 15.00-17.00: Lift on La Mole and visit of the Cinema Museum: panoramic view of Turin. 17.15-19.15: "Treasure hunt" through the historical centre of Turin: three itineraries for the three groups, from an idea of Ms Elena Garello, Art teacher .

Thursday 7 08.00: day visit to the Thermoelectrical Power Plant in Sordevolo and excursion into an Alpin valley (confortable shoes and clothes) Lunch at the power station

Friday 8 8.00- 9.30: Polish, Spanish and Swedish students in the classes 09.30-11.00: Lecture by Mr. Angelo Tartaglia, associated Physics teacher at Politecnico of Turin - on "Environmental challenges and risks in Turin and in the Piedmont region". 12.00-14.00: Visit at the Heating Plant near the Politecnico 14.00: Lunch in Convitto

15.00-16.00: Lorenzo Vnouceck, of the Jamm Adeane Association, presents the Association and the Plastika Project for plastic recycle in the Senegalese village of Adeane. Possible animation by a Senegalese griot. 16.30-18.00: Mixed group of students and teachers: final assessment of the meeting. 17.15-18.00: (only for teachers): working out dates and activities for the Polish meeting; discussion about a possible new Comenius Projet. 20.00: (for teachers and students) official farewell dinner in Convitto
