Now we Starting tutorial GM software of ISTAR New Models

1- When you Starting with ISTAR Receiver in the First time

You must have the software and the channels for upgrading them

You can find them in our websites

istar-hd.com, istar-hd.net, istar-3d.com,

Our software is formatted with .bim file

Be careful don’t change the format, some time when you download from internet in zipped, rar or

iso and some other formatted you must extract it as I explained it must with bim format then insert

to Flash USB then insert Flash to your Receiver

Then Press Menu in (Remote Control) find Upgrade

In Upgrade we have six options


a- http Upgrade here is you can update your software by one click

By red bottom update the software


b- Channel List Upgrade here you can upgrade your channels list (copy channels)

By red bottom update your channel list


c- Upgrade by USB


In there you signed to the USB Flash now you can upgrade your software and channel with USB

2- Factory reset some time you exchanging the setting of your receiver and you want to return back to

default but you can’t or you want to erase the receiver flash

Press Menu Installation Factory reset password (0-0-0-0) reset it as you like of the

setting


3- Some time you want to back up channel list or software and channel by Dump (mix)

For using it in another receiver, or listed your channel as you Like some time after upgrade your

software the flash is gone empty of channels, for Sure before upgrade your software back up the


Channels

And you can back up only channel list or back up all (software and channel MIX)

4- After upgrade software and channel (how you can connect to the Internet)

For connecting to the Internet first you must have the Internet that is the Joke as I said because it’s

Urgent to have the Internet….


You can easy find it with two ways Press F1 - 555 OR in Menu Internet find (Ethernet Config)

in the Link Type Select which type of internet you have (Wire Network - WIFI Network - 3G Network - GPRS

Network)


a- For the Wire Network direct use it

b- WIFI Network you must find your WIFI in Search type your password and select the auto Link press Link

when you find your WIFI name press OK on it.

Press OK on Password…… here you can type your password

Now you see the link is connected with Internet


c-For 3G Network you can direct use it by USB with 3G Internet's

d- For GPRS Network it just can use it in X60000 Model or if you have the External Dongle of GPRS,

in search let the auto Mode and select the auto link press the Blue Bottom...

Now as you see is Disconnect it mean is connected with GPRS successfully

5- How to Connect( X50000 and X9900 Classic) Receiver's Models to the dongle (Super Setting)?

You can easy find with two ways Press F1 - 111 OR Menu Upgrade find (Super Setting)



Find Satsharing (Internal) and Press Blue bottom then press EXIT

6- How to Connect IPTV Receiver's Models to the IPTV (Super Setting)?

You can easy find with two ways: press F1 – 111 or Menu Upgrade find (Super Setting)

Find IPTV press Blue bottom but be careful at first you must connected to the Internet then Press Ok in…


Sometimes you must reconnect your IPTV because of changing the IP Address it’s easy

Just press ok to sign in IPTV goes to connect press ok for Reconnecting

7. How to Connect IPTV Receiver's Models to the Icam/Internet (Super Setting)?


You can easy find with two ways Press F1 - 111 OR Menu Upgrade find (Super Setting)

find ICAM press blue Bottom but be careful at first you must connected to the Internet

then press ok



and sometimes because of bad signal of your internet or IP Exchange ICAM didn’t connect to the Internet in

side ICAM you must press yellow and press (0-0-0-0) for reconnecting ICAM...

8. How to fix IPTV Receiver's Models (Blue Window)?

sometimes when you Scanning the channel or upgrade the software or channels turn off the Electric or any

damage in Electric your receiver gone to Boot you must reboot it...


first you must have the software of your type of receiver be careful change the file name (rename) .bim file

to (rom), use it by USB (Flash) and turn off/on your receiver directly press Menu bottom in remote control

several times automatically reboot the receiver.

After that you must upgrade the channels because the flash channel of your receiver is empty

In There you can watch Movies as you Inserted to USB and listen to Music…

Find Network and Press OK
