Purpose: provide a professional/social network to alumni of the College while providing alumni opportunities to reconnect with and give back to IST.

Regional Champion Program: Effort designed to facilitate reconnection with our IST graduates in key alumni areas in a fun, social environment.

Purpose: Connecting IST and SRA students to the IST Alumni Society, and supporting student activities where possible.
Past Year Highlights: Helped to arrange a mentorship with an alumna and a student Assisted IST FTK with fundraising efforts by co-hosting a canning weekend Attended an IST Student Government meeting remotely to learn about upcoming events in the college
Upcoming Events/Tasks: Support graduation events in May for Class of 2014 (ice cream social/Senior Send-off) Gather data from Senior Send-off survey and determine the next course of action Reach out to next year’s Student Government President and future club Presidents to determine events for which they need assistance

Purpose: Collaborate with the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, to develop a strategy, priorities and goals for fundraising programs for the current fiscal year and review of ongoing performance of each campaign.
Goals:• Continue support of endowed scholarship
– Silent Auction – over $1000 raised!• Fundraise for IST FTK
– Two DC events: $617 raised
THON Subcommittee - Colleen Cwenar• Progress: Looking for people who want to get involved
– Especially outside DC• THON 2014
– Continued success– Four dancers – $48,000.00 (Top Ten for General Orgs)

Marketing & Communications Committee – Kelsey Bailey Purpose: Responsible for marketing all Society messages to the IST
community, including prospective students, current students, and alumni through ist.psu.edu/alumni, college’s website, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Purpose: Work closely with IST students, faculty, and staff in order to supplement and expand on-and off-campus recruiting initiatives, whose goal is the increased interest of high school students, current students who are enrolled within DUS, and those students who have received an offer of acceptance into the College.
Event Highlights: Successful IST Open House event
Alumni supported throughout the day Recruiting season just ending for the 2014 class Participated in DC-Area information session with Undergraduate Admissions
Upcoming: Prepare for Spend A Summer Day in the coming months Looking at future discussions around DUS student recruitment, as an option to boost numbers
