P re face

Ian Russel l , founder of Ian Russel l Des igns, began h is pass ion for etched

and carved g lass in 1976. His g lass work ranges f rom custom etched g lass

mura ls and par t i t ion screens to g lass furn i ture for exc lus ive hote ls and

restaurants in the Uni ted States and South East As ia. A par t ia l l is t o f c l iente le

inc ludes New Or leans Saints Headquar ters at the Superdome, Caesar ’s

Pa lace, Tropicana Hote l , F lamingo Hote l , and ten f lagsh ip Hyat t Regency

hote ls wor ldwide. Addi t iona l ly, work has been completed for la rge corporate

c l ients such as Wel ls Fargo Bank, Bank of Denver, and Home Sav ings and

Loan.

Luxury hote l pro jects inc lude Mansion on Tur t le Creek (Da l las, Texas) ,

W indows on the Wor ld (Wor ld Trade Center ) , Rosewood Hote ls, Regency

Hote l Hong Kong, Chicago Water Tower, and Hyat t Kannapal i Resor t ,

Maui , Hawai i . Ian has cont inued to des ign and oversee a mul t i tude of

pro jects which most recent ly have inc luded the C-More Hale Laboratory

at the Univers i ty of Hawai i , The Aulan i D isney Resor t in Oahu, and Wynn

Development ’s new hote l in Macao, China, opening in 2014.
