Roy graduated from Oxford University and after qualifying as a solicitor worked for leading law firms in London, Hong Kong and Paris. After an MBA at INSEAD, he joined Hewlett-Packard at its Europeanhead office in Geneva. On return to the UK he was a partner in a Thames Valley firm before joining Stone King. Roy has advised large organisations such as Manpower, SAP and Veolia and many owner-managed businesses of various kinds. He has also acted for well-known organisations in the charity and education sectors such as The National Trust, The Diana, Princess of Wales MemorialFund, Heritage Lottery Fund and Sherborne School.

Caroline started her career in London, qualifying in 2001, before joining us in 2007. She has extensive corporate and commercial law experience, including transactional work (ie acquisitionsand mergers), company reorganisations, banking, venture capital and joint ventures. Caroline alsoadvises on commercial, IT and IP matters, including articles of association and shareholder'sagreements, software contracts, website terms and conditions, general terms and conditions of tradeand trade mark law. Caroline works with directors, shareholders, companies, partnerships, soletraders, charities and schools on a wide range of legal matters.

Vicki is a barrister/professional support lawyer within the charities and education team, with a Masters in Information Law. Vicki advises a wide range of clients on both Data Protection andFreedom of Information, including responding to subject access requests, assessing generalcompliance with legal obligations, and dealing with Freedom of Information. Before working at StoneKing, Vicki worked in the Government Legal Service in VAT litigation, and as a lawyer for the CharityCommission.

Geoffrey was a partner in Titmuss Sainer & Webb for some 14 years, heading up one of the firm’s corporatefinance teams specialising in mergers and acquisitions, acting for a number of substantial public andprivate companies. In 1990 he set up his own corporate practice concentrating on a small number of highquality clients, such as the Haymarket Media Group, Conran Holdings and Bonhams. In 2000 he joinedLewis Silkin LLP as a consultant and continued to care for his key clients within a larger practice, whilstat the same time developing the firm’s education practice from scratch. Geoffrey joined Stone King inSeptember 2012.

Brian qualified as a solicitor after graduating from Cambridge University and was a partner in a specialist London media law firm and Head of Legal & HR at Virgin Interactive before joining StoneKing. He has also worked in-house at Phonographic Performance Limited, Portsmouth City Counciland a national children’s charity. Brian provides specialist legal advice to organisations and individualsin the fields of IT, commerce and e-commerce, procurement, data protection, informationmanagement, intellectual property and computer games. Brian is the author of numerous articles inthe fields of IT, e-commerce and computer games and regularly contributes to his four blogs.
