Review all system requirements

Note: Administrative privileges on the computer are required for installation.

Hardware

Processor: Pentium III or greater.

Network Connection: 56kb minimum, Broadband is recommended.

Software

Operating System Microsoft Windows XPMicrosoft Windows VistaMicrosoft Windows 7

Internet Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer v6.x and greaterMozilla Firefox v 3.57 and belowOpera

Note: Netscape Navigator, Google Chrome and Safari are not compatible with

this application; support will be available in future.

Adobe Reader: Version 7x greater must be installed and set as thedefault PDF reader to view, print, and/or save datareports

Downloading IoBM Online Setup

1) Launch Internet Explorer / Firefox or Opera

2) Go to http://www.iobm.edu.pk/olreg/olregmain.html

3) Download and save IoBM Online Setup.exe in your computer

Installing IoBM Online Setup

1) Double Click the file

2) If the following dialogue box appears then Click OK




3) Click Yes to install the runtime

4) Click OK

5) Click Next to begin installation




6) Wait while files being copied

7) Click Next to install




8) After installation Click OK

9) Click Next




10) Click Finish

Configure System

Adjust Screen Resolution

Screen resolution must be set to a minimum of 1024 x 768.

1) Right click on the Desktop and click ‘Properties’.

2) Click the Settings tab.Use the slider in the ‘Screen area’ section and adjust to 1024 x 768 or greater andthen click ‘OK’.

Note: Windows default resolution is either 800 x 600 or 640 x 480.

3) Depending on your system, you may need to restart your computer for the settings to

take effect.

Disable Pop-up Blocker

1) Click the ‘Start’ button and then click ‘Run…’

Note: If you do not have the ‘Run…’ option in your start menu select the windows keyand R (WIN+R).

2) Enter ‘inetcpl.cpl’ and click ‘OK’

3) Click the ‘Privacy’ tab.Make sure that ‘Turn on Pop-up Blocker’ is unchecked and then click ‘OK’.

4) Close all open Internet Explorer windows.

Resetting the setting of Internet Explorer 6

1. Launch Internet Explorer

2. Click on the "Tools" menu option on the Menu Bar




3. Select "Internet Options"

4. Click on the "Security" tab.

5. Click the "Default Level" button under "Security level for this zone"




6. Click on the "Advanced" tab.

7. Click the "Restore Defaults" button

8. Click "Apply"9. Click "Ok" to close Internet Options.

10. Close Browser.11. Restart Browser.




Resetting the settings of Internet Explorer 7/8

To reset the Internet Explorer 7/8 settings manually, follow these steps:

1. Start Internet Explorer.

2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options

3. On the Advanced tab, click Reset.

4. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box,




5. Click Reset to confirm.
