Traditional congregational hymns for the sea-son will be sung by all present with the leader-

ship of the church’s Holtkamp organ and a choir of singers from area churches.

Spark is for children

ages 3-2nd grade

Club 345 is

for children in

grades 3, 4 & 5.

Children begin in worship with their Families, then

are dismissed to classes after the pastor’s time

with Kids of the Kingdom. They return in time for

Holy Communion.

Frolic meets Sunday, February 2 at 10:15 and

Wednesday with your infants and

toddlers to age 3 for a time of Bi-

ble Story and play!

This group meets Sundays between services. We use the Upper Room devotional booklet available at church. All are welcome to join us!

Can You Help With Some Needs?

Daily Bread is looking for vol-unteers to help do laundry this coming year, just dish towels and aprons. We ask that you

pick a month between March and December and pick up the laundry on Wednesday night or Thurs-day morning. Return it to the kitchen by Sunday.

We do NOT need plastic containers or bags for the time being. Thanks!

Kid's Table Volunteers Needed! We have a "kid's table" each week where a volunteer sits with the children and plays games or does other activities (all provided). This allows their parents/guardians a chance to have adult conversation. We could use one or two more persons to be a part of the rota-tion. You arrive at 5 pm for set-up and stay until approximately 6:30 pm. If you have questions about this important Daily Bread ministry, contact Sue Davis at 419-472-1926

February 2 High school youth and parents of all junior

high and high school students join BODY SHOP for lunch.

High schoolers then split off with Rebecca, while parents explore what it’s like to share

faith in the home - the “Faith 5.”

The Prayer Shawl Ministry team will meet Feb. 10 in the Atrium from 7-8 p.m. We are a small group looking for others who knit or crochet and who would like to be a part of this worthwhile ministry. Although we work on shawls at our meet-ings, shawls are mostly made at home Easy pat-terns and yarn are available at our meetings. Contact the church office to obtain a free shawl for anyone in need of the comfort of a prayer shawl.

Fleece and Yarn Needed If you have any fleece or yarn left over from your projects. the Prayer Shawl Ministry team could use it to make scarves, mittens, and hats for the homeless. Please bring your donations to the church office, or contact Joyce Barger at 419-266

Do You Like to Play EUCHRE?

The Olivet Euchre League in-vites you to join them on the second Thursday of every month in the Teen Room at 7:00 p.m. You may bring a snack to share if you like, but it’s not necessary. All skill levels are welcome!

Saturday, February 15 ~ 9:00 a.m.

Registration starts at 7:30am, walk starts at 9:00 am.

The 1 Mile Walk ($20) will be around Olander Lake. The first 50 walkers receive a finishers ribbon.

The 5K Run ($30) will start at the Nederhouser Building, and finish in Olander Park. The first 275 5K Run finishers will receive a finishers medal.

Proceeds will go to youth programs in our com-munity for the prevention of drug and alcohol use.

Hot Cocoa with marshmallows/whipped cream and snacks will be available after the race/walk in the Nederhouser Community Hall.
