AARHUS UNIVERSITY AU We hereby invite international lecturers to come and teach at AU Summer University. AU Summer University consists of a portfolio of courses taught in English at Bachelor, Master and PhD level within the fields of Humanities, Theology, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Business and Educational Sciences. Location: AU Summer University will take place on campus in July and August in the architecturally renowned yellowbrick buildings in the beautiful University Park in Aarhus, Denmark. Academic focus: Several academic areas at Aarhus University invite international guest lectur- ers to teach at AU Summer University. You can find all vacancies online. As all teaching at Aarhus University is research- based, courses have a strong academic founda- tion and we therefore only recruit internationally recognised researchers and lecturers. Students: AU Summer University welcome Dan- ish and international full-degree students, ex- change students and non-degree students. Class sizes range from 20–50 students. Courses: AU Summer University is divided into two terms. For each term, students can earn 5 or 10 ECTS credits depending on course duration. International guest lecturers ONLY teach one course or part of a course depending on the subject. All teaching at AU Summer University is based on current research and has a strong international perspective. This close link between research and education ensures the quality and depth of the courses. Teaching is provided by both academic staff from Aarhus University and international guest lecturers. Employment conditions: Aarhus University provides a salary for teaching, evaluation and examination. Some departments also pay for one return ticket (economy class). In most cases guest lecturers are responsible for their own accommodation expenses. Specific employment conditions can be found under each vacancy listing.

Services: The International Centre at Aarhus University offers a housing guarantee, visa service and information about tax exemption, as well as assistance in practical issues before and during teaching.

How to apply: Available positions will be posted online from 1 July 2013. The application deadline is 31 August 2013.
