Invention Group The Roles : The invention group consists of an inventor with one or two assistants who are presenting their invention at a trade show. The Requirements : The inventor groups will choose an invention of the Industrial Revolution to research and recreate. Students will use Noodle Tools to cite their sources and gather their research on note cards. The inventor groups will need to fill out an application for a patent. In the patent application students will have to complete all the questions from the viewpoint of the original inventor. Hand drawn diagrams and pictures will help to explain the invention. At the Trade Show : The inventor group will use models, diagrams and pictures as a visual aid. The inventor group will have to act in character to explain how the invention works. The presentation will also include why the invention was invented and how it has an effect on the Industrial Revolution. Rubric for Invention Project is on Angel .
