Requirements

Clearly defined aim

Candidates must be trained for the planned journey

Between four and seven people in a team

Joint planning by ALL the team

On completion a report must be given to the assessor.

Recording Your Training

Before taking part in the A.J. assessment, you need to have

successfully completed preliminary training in:

Applicable First Aid

Equipment usage

Route planning and navigation

Team skills

Observation and recording skills.
