The revised payment directive in Europe – PSD2
7 I
BUSINESS CHALLENGE
HOW TO COMPLY WITH THE NEW DIRECTIVE?
• PSD2 Implementation in EU
• EU/EEC has > 6,000 credit/financial institutions which must be compliant with PSD2
• None have the same vision for how to do it and no common ground apart from the directive requirements
What The Risks
• Risk of extremely fractured APIs
• High demand on IT-resources results in extreme cost
• Legacy systems also need revision to comply with PSD2 demands
• A strong demand for better partnerships between financial institutions
Bankbridge – an API HUB
8 I
MARKET OPPORTUNITIES
A new customer centric banking ecosystem for inclusive and collaborative sharing of data
• An API Bridge with integrated ”App store” for added services
• One single integration point – one stop shop for the banks’ necessary IT integrations
• Banks will only have to make one integration and then select what services they want to expose to who
