TYPES OF CAPACITORS
ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITORS:
The important characteristic of electrolytic capacitors is
that they have polarity.
Mainly this type of capacitor is used as a ripple filter in apower supply circuit.
Electrolytic capacitors range in value from about 1F to
thousands of F.

CERAMIC CAPACITORS
Ceramic capacitors are constructed with materials
such as titanium and barium used as the dielectric.
Internally, these capacitors are not constructed as a
coil, so they can be used in high frequency applications.

DIODE
Diode is a two-terminal electronic component that
conducts electric current in only one direction.
The most common function of a diode is to allow an
electric current to pass in one direction (called thediode's forwarddirection), while blocking current in
the opposite direction (the reverse direction).
