1.0 INTRODUCTION

As the Foundation in Teaching English as Second Language (TESL) students at

UiTM Malacca, Alor Gajah campus, we had given a class project for the subject Basic

Principles of Education (TED 072). We had given the school project by our lecturer, Miss

Juritah binti Misman. This project is conducted by our advisors, Miss Juritah binti Misman

and Mr. Nazarul Azali bin Razali. For this project we had 8 committees and we are the high

commitees members which consist Norhanani binti M.Bakari as the Project Manager, Nazifa

binti Mohd. Dawam as the Assistant Project Manager, Nurul Amirah bniti Suahaimi as the

Secretary, Dayang Nur Salma Dharmila binti Awang Salleh as the Assistant Secretary, Fatin

Alia binti Mohd. Subakir as the Treasurer and Nor Asyiqin binti Ruslan as the Assistant

Treasurer. We held this project at SK Lendu, Lendu, Alor Gajah, Malacca on 2nd of February

2013. During this school project, there were certain problems and obstacles had occurred, but

we managed to overcome it with several ways of solution. This school project is to help

students in mastering English through activities that has been carrying out during the project

by using the basic skills in English. Besides, this school project can inculcate the spirit of

corporation and increase the motivation and confidence level among students in using

English as a second language. From this project, it has taught us a lot of things on how our

life in the future as a teacher or educator. On the other hand, we can increase our social skill,

get the idea of teaching the primary school students and experience in handling students in

class. Actually, this school project was held to find out how teachers’ lives are and to seek for

knowledge in teaching career.
