Before directly going to the solar powered car project, let us study

some basics of solar cells and motor actions. The goal of -DC

electrical motor powered by solar panel circuit given below, is to

drive a DC motor using a solar panel and hence demonstrate how we

can use the solar power directly in particular applications. We are

describing about a solar powered car, which is the best example for

the application level illustration of DC electrical motor powered by

solar panel.

Body : Aerodynamics

A shape that release the least resistance to the flow of the air.

If the object was adjusted, the flow of the air around the

object will smooth and cause less drag.

I. Downforce

The rounded and tapered shape of the top of the car is designed to slice through the air and minimize wind resistance. Detailed pieces of bodywork on top of the car can be added to allow a smooth flow of air to reach the downforce-creating elements.

II. Bernoulli’s Principle

A physics principle that increase in the speed of a fluid produces a decrease in pressure and that a decrease in the speed of a fluid produces an increase in pressure. The principle states that the total energy of a moving fluid remains constant at all times. Therefore fluid pressure is inversely proportional to fluid velocity.
