This pack has been designed to evidence the successful assessment of the mandatory units contained within this qualification. You must complete and upload this pack to the class on your ProTrainings dashboard along with the learner course evaluation forms for each learner for Quality Assurance. We recommend uploading all paperwork whenever possible, all paperwork must be held securely and made available when requested. For all FAW requalification courses a copy of each learner's current certificate must also be uploaded. This qualification is assessed through on-going practical demonstration/assignment and oral examination by the tutor/assessor: Practical assessment/assignment: Learners must practically demonstrate the correct application of the first aid techniques indicated within the unit, including the completion of an accident report form. Oral examination: Learners are required to demonstrate a sufficient level of knowledge and understanding related to the unit content. This assessment can include learners completing a knowledge capture sheet, which can be further discussed/questioned with the tutor/assessor to extract further information, where required. Please note that oral questioning does not replace any of the practical assessment components. Once complete, this assessment paperwork and Internal Quality Assurance paperwork must be stored by the centre for a minimum period of 3 years to allow for quality assurance checks. -------------------------------------- Paperwork Completion Checklist -------------------------------------- Prior to claiming for certification, we recommend that you use the following checklist to ensure all the paperwork is complete for the HABC Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF) course.
